Welcome to 2 Bee Press Studio
I hope you like my designs as much as I like creating them. All of my designs are sketched and hand carved into a lino material using wood carving tools. I then ink and print the design onto the journals and tags. I do all of the sketching, carving, printing/stamping and packaging by hand. It is a one woman show.
Journals used are Moleskine brand which is a durable, high quality brand of notebooks made with acid-free paper. The journals also have a little pocket on the inside of the back cover to store small slips of paper, tickets or photos. If you have any questions about the material I use or if you would like to know more about my process please contact me.
Explore my about page to see a little more of my studio and some carved stamps.

See shop policies for additional details regarding shipping. If you need an item right away just contact me, I'll do my best to get it to you. If the item is a gift let me know and if you have a personal message I would be happy to write it on a gift tag for the recipient.

All of the items in my shop are meant to be used, shared and enjoyed!
Thank you,
- Sarah

Pollen...grains of sand...what do you see?
I had some small scraps left over and carved these for fun. I love how quirky they turned out to be.
It is amazing what you find when you Spring clean. I found one more of my silver Rocket designs printed on a navy blue moleskine journal. Last one!

About

Active child quieted with crayons.

For each piece I create the process is never exactly the same. I could be inspired by nature, popular culture or my own imagination. But when I am struck between the eyes with inspiration and clear enough of a space on my worktable to get started then I am happy. I am surrounded by all the materials, colors, tools and bits of detritus that I love – even if I can’t locate what I need immediately because it is buried in the debris from the last time inspiration hit, I know it is not far away. (My degree is in physical anthropology - archaeology - which is why my worktable looks like an archaeological dig in progress) Still... I assure you, each piece is created because I enjoyed creating it, I like it and want it to be enjoyed by others, to be used out in the world and maybe 250 years from now it will be rediscovered by some budding Archaeologist and enjoyed again.

I grew up in Oregon and have been fortunate to travel the US and abroad. I even lived in Japan for a few years. All the places I have visited have inspired me in one way or another. Some of that inspiration has culminated in my shop, 2 Bee Press.
