About 2 Sisters Handmade

Hello! This is Anne, one of the 2 sisters of 2 Sisters Handmade Shop. My sister Christi, is one of the "sisters" too.

We created our Etsy shop to share our handmade crochet and knit designs and creations. Both of us have "creativity" in our blood. We both have been painting, sewing, knitting, and crocheting for years.

My sister was taught how to crochet at a very young age by our Uncle Ben. She taught herself how to knit. Now, she loves to knit and crochet using soft and unusual yarns as well as bulky yarns.

I was taught to crochet by a lovely, lovely older friend who I called "Mother Dear." This was years ago, and have been crocheting all types of items for many years. I love to sit in my big "crochet" chair with a new skein of yarn and just begin crocheting, just to see what wants to be created.

Crocheting, for me, is a wonderful meditation tool. Most of the time I crochet in the wee hours of the morning, in complete silence.

It is incredibly exciting to know our handmade infinity scarves, lap blankets, slouchy beanies and other knitwear has found homes all over the world!

Although setting up an Etsy Shop is challenging, it is also very rewarding. Each piece created gives us a quite a sense of accomplishment.

All of our items are Handmade with most •★• Made to Order •★• therefore there are slight variations in each item made, either in depth of color, weight or bulk of yarn, etc.

I work very hard at hand-making each and every item as close to what is presented in the images as possible. Yet, if the same color and brand of yarn used is even slightly heavier or lighter, the finished handmade item may not be exactly as pictured.

I also try very hard to photograph and show the actual color, style and pattern of our items in the pictures, however computer monitors vary widely and do not always show true colors.

Cancellations are accepted within 6 hours of the order.

Returns and refunds (shipping charges not included) are accepted on a case by case basis only. We do not "Exchange" one item for another because ...

Please contact us regarding any problems immediately upon receipt of item (within 3 days of delivery) .

•★• Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility. •★•

•★• When returning an item, you are requested to purchase tracking and provide me with the tracking info once the returned item is shipped. •★•

Payment is expected at the time of purchase.

Shipping
•★• We are not responsible for delays in delivery by the USPS. •★•

NOTE: In the past 2+ Months, the USPS has been experiencing long delays in scanning packages and deliveries -- even Priority Packages are being affected, so please be patient if your order does not arrive when estimated / expected.

I will ship your order to the address listed in YOUR ETSY RECEIPT. Please make sure your ETSY address is the correct address -- including gift purchases. I DO NOT Ship to UNCONFIRMED USPS addresses.

If paying with Paypal, Please make sure the Paypal address Matches your Etsy Address.

We are not responsible if the ship to address is incorrect. Re-shipping to correct address will be at the Buyer's expense.

Please allow 5-7 days for shipment of order (unless otherwise stated) and another 2-4 (or more) days for US delivery. All US Continental orders will be shipped by the U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail.

•★ LOST in Mail •★•
If item is lost in shipping, we will file a claim on your behalf with the USPS and will refund you once the USPS sends us a payment . The USPS considers a package "Lost" if it has not been delivered within 30 days once tracking begins. It usually takes 3-4 weeks to receive reimbursement from the USPS if a package is declared "Lost"

We ship International Orders by First Class Mail USPS with insurance.

We DO Not ship to countries that U-PIC (shipping insurance) will not insure.

Tracking is usually not available for international orders.
