It's an exciting day in my shop! I am finally offering some of my inventory up for international buyers! Residents in Canada and Puerto Rico can now buy items from my shop that ship in boxes. More countries will be added soon… Happy shopping!
I'm excited to bust these stickers out again this holiday season! Order between now and December 22nd and your package will get one!
When the boy child gets a good fortune in his cookie, I have to share it! I take this to heart… I work hard to be consistent with my items, their descriptions, and their shipping. What you see is what you get with me! Check out my shop and see…

About

At Ephemera Ever After you can find vintage items - particularly greeting cards, stationery and other ephemera gems, plus the random vintage bauble.

I was a prolific writer in my younger years...I sat down with pen and paper and wrote diary entries, letters to pen pals, notes to friends, parts of novels, articles for newspapers and magazines. In college, email took over and my personal collection of correspondence tools became just another collection. I've always loved "vintage" stuff...however you want to classify that... but old paper really geeks me out.

The vintage cards and stationery sold here are from my own collection as well as items I have stumbled upon or been given over the years. I started this shop in 2009 and quickly put it on hiatus for almost 6 years. I'm back as of November 2015, and am super excited to share the additional treasures I have picked up since I first started this shop. Eventually you'll find all sorts of vintage fun!

I really do hope my vintage cards and stationery will inspire you to try writing a letter instead of turning to the often impersonal option of email, though. Sincerely. Pick up a pen. Open a beautiful card. Write. It's that easy.

And hey, if writing by hand really isn't your thing, then you should still look around and consider my items as supply for your new creations. After all, old can become new!

40-something, educated, kitty mom, fairy lover, writer, daydreamer, child of God, and so much more... I am an impulsive creator. I also enjoy vintage items, especially old paper. If I like it and think you will, too...then you'll find it here!

Hello! My name is Charity and I run Ephemera Ever After. I have done my best to accurately represent all my items through the listings and the photos. I am not an expert, just a passionate enthusiast...so feel free to ask questions about any item, and request additional pictures anytime!

Payment
I prefer to do all transactions through Paypal or Etsy Direct Checkout. I do accept Etsy gift cards, and you can use all major credit cards through Paypal and Etsy.
Shipping
I use Etsy's calculated shipping for the U.S. (all my items) and select countries (some items - not those in bubble mailers, only those in boxes). Contact me to discuss shipping to other countries I have not selected.

I will combine items for reduced shipping rates when possible.

When my calculated shipping is more than $1.50 over my actual cost to package and ship, I will refund the difference back through Etsy.

I take GREAT CARE in packaging up my treasures to send to my buyers. I use recycled packing materials, and try to ship as cheaply as possible, but some items can be very heavy!

I ship using the U.S. Postal Service. It benefits both of us: I get a reliable shipping partner who will handle my item and save me the hassle of complicated mailing, and you know that your items should arrive in good condition. Plus, you get tracking! :)

Here are some general ways that I pack my items:

My greeting cards, paper items, and some thin books are mailed carefully and packaged with care in a padded envelope.

My larger items and bigger books are usually sent packed in boxes, again using recycled materials and fill.
Refunds and Exchanges
I do not accept returns and do not issue refunds or exchanges, unless it is clear that I misrepresented the item - ie, wrong color, wrong size, etc. If you are worried about damage (I do my best to protect everything well), please ask me to add insurance and I will send you an updated invoice for the item.

You are also responsible for providing a valid address for me to ship to. I can not be responsible for incorrect addresses. If an item is damaged, I would expect the buyer to work with the shipper (USPS) to resolve the issue.
Additional policies and FAQs
My Vintage Cards and other vintage items are photographed and described in the best detail that I can so that you know upfront about any flaws, markings or defects with the items. Please read each lot description carefully.

Non-smoking home. :)
