Hi, I'm Theresa, and thanks for visiting my shop! I draw things and take photos of two miniature bison.

I’ve loved to draw since I was a child, and I owe a great deal of thanks to an art teacher who taught me to “let your eye follow the line and draw what you see”. There is a continuous line running through and connecting all objects, and it is the goal of my drawings to just follow that line.

I make my line drawings using a single, continuous stroke, all the while looking only at my subject. My pen follows the line my eyes take as I observe my subject. I look down at my paper only after I lift my pen. Every drawing is a surprise. Sometimes the surprise is a hot mess, but other times it is a mini masterpiece. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

I also take photos of two miniature bison. I was born in Buffalo, NY (home of wings and snow), so I've always been partial to the animal often but incorrectly called "buffalo". I make my bison photos using natural lighting. They are little guys who like to go on big adventures. Fun fact: the scientific name for the American bison is Bison bison.
