I’m Efi, an architect for the last years & a crafter for a lifetime!
I entered the school of architecture, 13 years before… My university years were, as most of the times, a great adventure for me! Architecture got me in the huge world of art…I got passionate for creation. As years were getting by, I couldn’t stop getting obsessed with new materials, new designing methods and then new crafts. New projects. New patterns. New places. New designers. Learn. Try. Draw. Fail. Try again. Never give up!!! Create, create and never quit creating! More and more…It was obvious for me that this was endless and that was the biggest challenge. Having no limits on expressing my thoughts and getting them into reality… As student I travelled a lot…I had a deep ambition that my creations would travel with me around the world one day. This was my strength through the years. However, you never know what lays in store.
When two years before I met with a fellow student of mine, with the same passion for creation, 2eggsProject got into reality… Obviously, that was the beginning of a new journey. That’s when “Etsy” became a plane and I remembered my biggest ambition. “2 eggs” is a phrase that we used a lot as students, an inside joke, which can only bring me beautiful feelings, positive thoughts and happy moments in mind. To most people egg symbolises birth, a symbol of hope of growth, knowledge and all the beautiful adventures of a new life. A life in its different stages of development, encompassing the magic and mystery of creation. The infinite thirst for knowledge of the unknown defined by a child’s natural curiosity. The egg symbolises – Growth, Life and thirst for knowledge.
So 2eggsProject established it all. I am glad I can share what started as an inside joke with Etsy community and make you part of all the feelings this carries with it in a professional way.
