Welcome to my store! I have been selling vintage on Etsy since 2008 and I am the owner/curator of two vintage Etsy shops. My main store is Jessamity, www.etsy.com/shop/jessamity In that shop, I sell a very eclectic mix of vintage clothing, shoes, and accessories. After many years of successfully hunting for clothing, I decided to broaden my scope to include vintage and antique home goods. So this shop was created!

If I'm not combing thrift stores for vintage, antiques, and supplies, I am usually creating something. You can follow my daily life, many projects and inspirations on Instagram!

Do you reserve items?

I do reserve items for customers if requested. I will reserve for up to 3 days. Then if payment is not made, the item is taken off of reserve.

What is included in shipping costs?

The shipping cost for each listing includes the actual United States Postal Service shipping fees, insurance, the cost for all shipping and packaging materials per order. Some antique items are large, bulky, oddly shaped, or require more care and packaging materials to make it safely and undamaged to their new home. Please take this into consideration when viewing shipping prices before purchasing.

What happens if a package is late/lost/damaged?

Late: Please, contact me if you were expecting an order and the order is past due. I will provide you with the tracking number of your item as proof of shipment. If I have lost the receipt, or am unable to provide you with solid proof of shipment, I will either send replacement items, or b) a refund for your order.

Damaged/Lost: All items are shipped with insurance. If your item arrives damaged, or is lost in transit, an insurance claim will be filed and a refund will be given. An insurance claim will require the customer to provide photos of damage and submit an affidavit of non-receipt before a refund is issued. Please contact me to file the insurance claim and process a full refund.

The nature of vintage/antique items...

Vintage/antique items are not new, but well loved! I try to state and photograph all flaws in each listing but may occasionally miss something.

I do clean all items to remove dirt/bugs, but since some people like rust and patina I try not to over clean/polish and remove any patina. I do leave that up to the customer.

Vintage/antique items may have rust, lead based paint, or come in contact with other chemicals. So common sense and caution may be required when handling them.

All items come from a smoke free home. With vintage items, I do not necessarily know if any previous owners smoked, but I will mention if something has an odor of any kind.
