5 out of 5 starsLove all the great vintage patterns this shop offers. I love collecting vintage sewing and crochet books, but always fun to see other patterns that are different than the usual blanket or tablecloth. These are perfect and fresh for today's boho style.

5 out of 5 starsDownloaded fast. I know seller is not responsible for the information in the vintage pattern, but just FYI the pattern does not tell you how much yarn to use. I'd say between 800 and 1500 yards depending on your size, based on other coat patterns I have read.

Modern Vintage Fashion For Creative Hands
My passion and Etsy journey is inspired by my Mom Marilyn : )
a true vintage fashionista !
In 1962 she opened a yarn shop in Old town Tustin, California ..
It was like a "candy" shop of needlework patterns & supplies ..
Most importantly, it was special place for creative people to gather.
Seated around tables in the center of the shop they would crochet and knit.
Speaking of their joys and sorrows, their hopes, dreams and ideas ..
It was my favorite place to be!
Sadly, I lost my Mom and best friend a few years back,
but she left me with a love for creativity and fashion AND ..
an enormous treasure trove of vintage patterns
from the turn of the 20th century on ..
(And I just know that the angels are wearing fabulous sweaters!)
Trying to work from these old patterns was proving to be a BIG challenge!
The typeface is tiny, the photos faded and scratched.
I want to share Mom's patterns; and make them a pleasure to work with.
Every vintage pattern is scanned, the photos are enhanced and colorized
Then the directions are converted into a new, easy to read and follow format.
No photocopies here my friends!
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if there is a particular pattern you’re looking for.
Just describe what you’d like as clearly as you can
(e.g., “women’s vintage cowl neck dress",
"chunky knit ski sweater” etc.)..
With thousands of vintage knitting & crochet patterns
from the early 1900's through the 1970's,
I more than likely have "the one" !
I truly love what I do ..
And I hope you do too !
Thank you so much for taking a 2nd Look ♥
