36 Letters provided me with a custom design for my sisters's birthday. The final product was perfect and fit not only her personality but her home. I couldn't be happier with the purchase or the customer service.

Finished product looked great! This was a wedding gift and the couple loved it. Really easy to work up a custom design and the turnaround time is quick. The piece was packaged very well for shipping. Great idea for weddings, new homes, new babies, I think!

A school project gone wild!

36 Letters grew out of a school project I helped my sister with in 2010. In the aftermath of the massive earthquake that rocked Haiti, we created a photo project that spelled out "Hope for Haiti" using photos of objects that looked like letters instead of the actual letters themselves. The project had an urban but refined style, and spawned an idea.

This idea evolved into hand-made Christmas gifts for my friends and family. In 2012, I put together my first custom photo projects spelling out their addresses (1405 John, 187 Barnegat, etc.) using the same style. The result was a unique wall hanging that brought local charm to living rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens. These gifts were very well-received and feedback generally centered around, "You should sell these."

And, so I am!

In the summer of 2014, I left a full-time job and started to put 36 Letters out to the world. For me, it was a creative outlet to pour myself into while also looking for a new job. In short order, I refined the production process, expanded inventory of photos, and added a few different product offerings.

Eight months later, I realized that this could be more than a real job; it could be a career. So in February 2015, I decided to go all in on 36 Letters. And, I am now working on bringing 36 Letters to the world, while maintaining the critical connection to local communities.

I hope you enjoy the pieces as much as I do! And, please send me a message or an email if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions.

Thank you.
