Speading My Color Theory

For as long as I can remember, I have loved making beautiful, colorful creations with whatever materials I could get my hands on. In elementary school, it was tissue paper flowers and origami birds. Middle school brought embroidered friendship bracelets, and in high school I began dabbling in the finer arts such as charcoals, pastels and oils. From there, I went on to study Fine Art at a private liberal arts college in a small town in Pennsylvania. This is where I discovered my fervor for sculpture. I began creating large-scale, nature-inspired sculpture using organic materials such as maple leaves, branches and feathers.

After graduation, I spent a year focusing on graphic design at SCAD in Savannah, Georgia, and then worked for 10 years as a graphic designer in the Washington, DC area.

Throughout the years, what has remained consistent in all of the medias I have explored is the joy I derive from working with my hands and my love of color — all color. After the birth of my second child, I made the decision to stay home with my children so that I could provide them with as rich and colorful of a childhood as I had. Over the past 3 years, I have continued to explore new outlets for my passion. Here is where I have settled in — Designing custom wreaths for every corner. Thank you for visiting.

Spring is…birds singing sweet melodies welcoming longer warmer days; colorful aromatic flowers sprouting from the newly awakened earth; and freshly laundered curtains blowing in the soft breezes, from opened windows that whisper spring is in the air.

Additional policies and FAQs
All items are made in a smoke-free environment.

As everything in my shop is handmade, please allow for some variation in the assemblage materials and presentation of each item. Colors are shown as accurately as possible and may vary slightly due to monitor and lighting changes.

Although I use quality materials, I cannot guarantee the rate at which the wreaths/tutus will age. It depends on the environment that you hang/wear them in.

I suggest that you do not hang the wreaths outdoors where they will be exposed to harsh weather conditions. Direct sunlight will likely cause fading over time.

All of my wreaths are for decoration only. Please keep them out of reach of small children as some wreaths have small items that could become a choking hazard.
