Family Creativity Leads to a Small Business
Welcome to my Etsy Shop! My name is Lara, and I hail from stunning Asheville, North Carolina, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I've always been a lover of creative pursuits, but it was only when I stumbled upon an earring design class during a vacation in Vermont that my passion for jewelry making was ignited. I enjoyed it so much that I convinced my twin daughters to join me in the fun, and before we knew it, we were creating so many designs that we decided to turn it into a small business.
Our first craft fair was a success, but it was when I met a fellow artist who told me about Etsy that our journey truly began. It was then that our shop - 3 Bead Designs - came to life, inspired by my daughters who dubbed us the "3 beaders". While we started with simple bead designs, my creations have evolved over time to incorporate nature-inspired elements and metalworking, all of which are designed and crafted in my home studio.
At 3 Bead Designs, I take pride in sourcing the highest quality materials from US-based supply shops while ensuring that my designs remain affordable, long-lasting, and safe for even the most sensitive skin. As an artist, I enjoy experimenting with new techniques and materials, drawing inspiration from the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains that surround me. From the lush flowers to the towering trees and majestic mountains, nature is a constant theme in all my creations.
