Design has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up with two parents in design helped push my creativity starting at a young age. I've always been a crafter and have considered myself a creative person. I started selling on Etsy in 2009 when I was only 11 years old crafting hand stitched felt stuff animals, ornaments, and other goodies. This was the start of me realizing the rewarding experience of creating work for others to enjoy, while having a hobby that supported me financially. Later down the road I became very interested in fashion and discovered my talent for crocheting. While in high school, my crocheted bikini tops exploded with the fashion trend for bohemian festival styled clothing. Promoting through Etsy, Instagram, and word of mouth, I was selling crochet tops daily. When I went to college, I expanded my talents into making earrings, incorporating crocheted metallic textures, metalworking, and beading. I participated in many craft fairs and events through my campus at Cal Poly, SLO and at smaller events with my peers. Sharing my work for all these years is such a valuable experience as it has supported my hobby of crafting. Nothing is more rewarding than someone using my creations to express their own individuality and style.
