Announcement    I am unable to make custom designs at this time. All of the items in the shop are made to order on a 3d printer. Standard items take 5-7 business days to print and put in the mail. Alphabet cookie cutter sets take 8-12 business days to print. Mini Alphabet Stamp Sets with Holders take 2 weeks to print and package.

As of July 1st 2022 GST/HST is included in the price of Canadian orders.

For detailed cookie cutters be sure to roll dough to 1/4". If you roll your dough to more than that contact me so I can make the appropriate modification for you. Dough will get stuck if it is too thick for the cutter.

Standard shipping is via the post office.
2-10 business days to Canada
3-6 business days to the United States.

I use food safe PLA plastic and which is NOT dishwasher safe. 3d printers lay down layers of plastic fusing one layer to the other. This process leaves ridges and pores in the walls of the cutters where bacteria can collect. To clean the surface of the cutters do so with a soft nylon brush (a toothbrush works well) or a clean, thin cloth in warm water with antibacterial dish soap. This will remove bacteria from the surface of the cutter but there are no guarantees that it will clean in all of the pores and ridges. Baking dough at 350F kills bacteria. As all food handling guidelines indicate, do not eat raw cookie dough.

Also please be aware that these products were not made as a toy so if handled roughly they can break and perhaps splinter. Letter stamps sets are made of very small pieces that can be swallowed. Please do not leave children unsupervised with any 3DKamotion cookie cutters or stamps.

Wash before first use.

Your First Choice for Unique, One-of-a-Kind Cookie Cutters in Canada!

Hi I'm Sue. I'm the designer, operations manager, shipper and receiver and bookkeeper here at 3D Kamotion. I do it all! I like to say I'm a techie who really wants to be an artist. I get so excited when I see the incredible and edible works of art that my customers create using my cookie cutters. I've always surrounded myself with artistically talented people hoping some of it would rub off on me, it never did and finally 5 years ago I discovered a way to become a part of the artistic process when I purchased my first 3d printer!

Frequently asked questions
Can my cookie cutter be put in the dishwasher?

No, please hand wash in warm soapy water A soft nylon brush works well with detailed cookie cutters.

Can I chose the colour of my cookie cutter?

I currently use blue and black PLA filament for my cookie cutters and stamps with turquois green as a backup when filaments are on back order. The colour you receive will depend on what's loaded in the printer at the time but I'm flexible so message me if you have a preference for blue or black.

Why is dough sticking in my detailed cookie cutter?

Not all dough works with detailed cookie cutters. The sugar cookie recipe I send has been well tested and it is what I recommend. Other bakers have had success with gingerbread and shortbread recipes. Prepackaged sugar cookie dough from the supermarket does not work.
It's crucial that dough is rolled to 1/4". Rolling gauges that ensure the correct thickness can be purchased online. If you prefer to roll your dough thicker, contact me before purchase and I can modify the cutter to work for you.
Many listings such as the Construction Truck set and the Hockey Skate now have videos detailing the "rocking technique" best used when working with detailed cookie cutters.

How thick should I roll my dough to get an ideal impression in my cookies using 3DKamotion detailed cookie cutters?

Roll dough to 1/4 inch. If dough is rolled thicker it is likely to get stuck in the cookie cutter. For video instructions on how to use our rocking technique on 1/4” dough search for us on YouTube using “How to use detailed cookie cutters from 3DKamotion”
