Announcement    PROUDLY INTRODUCING SOMETHING NEW! The fabric used for the pockets and sides of some of our bags were purchased from SpoonFlower. The fabric patterns are designed by artists all over the world. SpoonFlower transfers the artwork to a recycled fabric. The artist receives a commission each time their fabric is sold. The fabric is made in an eco friendly process and uses sustainable operational practices. Each yard of fabric is made with at least 10 plastic bottles. SpoonFlower helps the environment and encourages the artist's creativity. We have begun using some of this fabric to make our products These totes have the same quality as all of our bags with an added benefits to creativity and Mother Earth. But, the fabric is more expensive than the recycled and repurposed fabrics we have been using for years. Therefore the price of our SpoonFlower line of bags is more expensive.

Sadly, we will not longer be shipping internationally due to the expense, tariffs and delay in shipping deliveries.

Year 2020 is finally ending and I am glad. This was the most difficult year I have experienced. So sad and so crazy. Wishing you a very healthy 2021 with moments of true joy.

What a crazy world it is. Please stay healthy and keep your positive thoughts churning. Best to all of you and take care.

Little did we know that the Vogue Knitting Live Show would be our last show for a very long time.

Happy New Year. Hope you find much happiness, peace and good health.
Linda and I are off to wonderful New York City for the Vogue Live NYC Knitting Show. It is held at the Marquis Marriott at Times Square. So exciting. Shipped my products and booth supplies yesterday and they should be waiting for us in Booth 317 when you set up on January 16th. I love this show because of the people. Our customers are fun, open minded, a little quirky, happy to share their opinions and we receive great support for our small company. Looking forward to seeing all of you again.
And, we are extending our trip for quite a few days. We will be visiting Prime Fabrics to "dumpster dive" wonderful fabric remnants in the basement. Pictures below. We purchase fabric which is unique, high end and gorgeous. We spend about 4 hours choosing the fabric remnants to use in 2020.

My 2 sisters and I design, cut and make our products from up cycled and re purposed fabrics. And, YES, we are sisters. I am the youngest at age 69! (Yikes)

We come from a long line of seamstresses from our Great Grandma, Cecelia, tooGrandma Anna, to our Mom, Annabelle. We guarantee the work-woman-ship on every product we make.

Generous individuals, upholstery, drapery and interior decorating shops save their scraps, samples and end of bolts for us, instead of tossing them away The fabrics are gorgeous!

We also visit second hand shops, estate sales, yards sales and auctions, looking for fabrics which need a new life. Often these fabrics are vintage.

Products are returnable within 10 days. You can exchange the product or receive a full refund. We do not pay for the return postage. Sale items cannot be returned, the sale is final.

If this is a gift and the person who receives it is not pleased. They exchange it for any other product. Partial refunds will be issued if the new product that choose is less expensive than the original. Our products make great unique gifts.

There is an extra charge for custom orders.

Sales items or items purchased with a discount are not returnable.

3 Green Sisters.

My sisters and I have been sewing together our entire life. And, that is a long time considering I am the youngest at age 68! Our mother was a seamstress, our grandmother was a seamstress as was my great grandma! My sister, Jennie, retired at 70 years old last year.

We have been actively sewing for 3 Green Sisters for 19 years. We make knitting bags, bags and purses, and table linens, using fabric which have had a prior life or destined for landfill. Generous individuals, upholstery shops and drapery shops save their unwanted scraps of fabrics and end of bolts for us, instead of tossing them away.
We have a great contact online who sells ends of bolts of designer and decorators
fabric. Sometime the fabrics are off gage, stained or stretched. We cut around the flaws. We also visit second hand shops, yard sales, estate sales and more looking
for wonderful fabrics which need a new life.

Most of our products are one of a kind because of the limited amount of fabrics we receive. We do guarantee the work-woman-ship on every product we make. They
are made in the USA by us We are a green company,
using up cycled, re purposed, rescued and vintage fabrics. What fun it is.

In addition to keeping our active ETSY Shop, we also have a 3 Green Sister/Handmade/Amazon.
Our Amazon shop has many of our bags but also gorgeous table runners, placemat sets, table cloths and napkins. All of our products are one of a kind and made using up cycled, repurposed and rescued fabrics.
Because of COVID-19, we are not exhibiting at any shows and miss them.
