Announcement
ANNOUNCEMENT: WE ARE BACK, offering great work-woman-ship, one of a kind amazing bags made from up cycled, repurposed, vintage, recycled and rescued fabrics. We are thrilled. Thank you for your patience while we worked through our problems and changes, long COVID, other health things, old age, selling a home, living with children and buying a new cottage. Our unique and very well made bags are being pictured and added to our shop. During our recovery we had a few seamstress helping us, which was so nice of them, but the quality of the bag fell. I am putting those bags, although quite nice, on sale.
I think it it good that I have said that we are SLOW, but we are steady. We will be adding more and more bags to our shop soon. In the meantime, I have lowered the prices on our Jenny Knot Bags, a lovely Phoebe purse and a bunch of Portland small shoulder bags. I would very much like to sell these since we will not be making Jennies, Lily, or Portlands again. We hope to make more Phoebes but the price will be much more expensive. We will be increasing the prices of our bags unfortunately. We spent time with our accountant and she was quite blunt about how to have a profitable business. I do dislike reality. More bags soon made from up cycled, repurposed, rescued and vintage fabrics. Also we will be bringing back many of the favorites and have designed two new styles for your projects!
Time to celebrate. We are slowing getting back to our 3 Green Sisters' business. The last four months have been a challenge and we have experienced many changes. But we are back. I am adding three bags today and next week I will add a few more. Our production will be limited compared to previous years but we are happy to be back.
Hope you will visit us.
We have cut, made and pictured three Devon style project totes and I will be adding them very very soon. It feels so good to be adding new bags. More to come in February. We are using are piles and piles of unused and remnant fabrics. You may remember some of them!
HAPPY NEW YEAR. We hope the New Year brings you good health, adventures and lots of laughter. I am staying with my sister Linda for only a few days. We have started cutting some bags but they will probably not be available until March. We are cutting new Priscillas, Zoes, Tinas, Sams and Nancys now and may add the Pia and Nicole in the future. It is really fun visiting my Sis and creating again. Hope you are all doing well.
As of today, it seems like Linda and I will be producing a small number of our best style bags, per month, after the first of the year. In the meantime, I am adding some new bags to our shop, which were made previously. We will be participating in ETSY's Cyber Sale, November 18th to 30th, offering a 20% savings and free shipping. Happy Holidays.
Today I am adding our last Priscilla and Tina style project totes. My sister and I keep thinking we should try to make a limited amount of project totes each month, after the first of the year. We are just not sure right now. After this grouping, we have about 15 more bags to add, plus a few needle bags, Our bags are one of a kind, made using up cycled and repurposed fabrics.
Life is changing for 3 Green Sisters. Yesterday we posted our first bundle of fabric remnants! Linda and I will be posting many bundles of fabric remnants in the next months. The shelves in our workrooms are full of amazing and upscale repurposed and up cycled fabrics. For many reasons, we are slowing down and by December we will not be making any new bags. We are so sad.
ANNOUNCEMENT: We sadly will no longer be accepting Custom Orders for any of our styles.
While visiting our shop, please note that we have over 900 FIVE STAR REVIEWS from our happy customers. The reviews may make you feel more confident about shopping with us. Many of you may already be familiar with our bags and totes. We had exhibited at the NYC Vogue Life Knitting Show and many other Vogue and Stitches Show before COVID.
If you have any questions please convo me through ETSY, email me at 3greensisters2013 [!at] gmail.com, or call/text at 510 888 5620.
Generous individuals, upholstery, drapery and interior decorating shops save their scraps, samples and end of bolts for us, instead of tossing them away The fabrics are gorgeous! Recycled, renew, up cycle and repurpose. Be good to Mother Earth. She seems pissed off!
Thank you so very much,
Suzanne and Linda

5 out of 5 starsLOVE IT! The bag is beautiful, and artfully made! I used it today for a day trip, as it is light, roomy, and has a strap that can be used as a crossbody. I fit my small purse, light jacket, and a lunch in it comfortably.

5 out of 5 starsI definitely recommend 3greensisters! I loved the picture on Etsy but the picture doesn't do it justice. The patterns are whimsical. The bag is well made and sturdy. Great for my knitting! Many Thanks.

5 out of 5 starsThis bag is absolutely beautiful. As usual, the quality of workmanship is excellent and more than meets my expectations. Over the past several years, I have purchased seven bags in different styles and sizes from 3GreenSisters and they've never disappointed me yet.

5 out of 5 starsLovely as are all the bags! Right now I am using it as a small knitting bad but it serves double duty as a tote . The size is perfect and the fabric and workmanship are wonderful. Please make more of this size!
