Hello! Welcome to 40Winks by J! The following shop policies are created to ensure that you get your order created and delivered in the exact way you intended. Please read below in the event that you have any questions about how I conduct my Etsy shop.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
We only accept PayPal for payment. We feel as though our customer's payment information is best protected this way.
I do not accept personal checks or money orders.
I will not ship your order until your payment has cleared.
Shipping
I will use USPS Priority (2-3 days) for US orders only. International orders will ship via USPS First Class. Our shipping schedule (organized by purchase date) is located in our shop announcement section and is included in all purchase receipts. If you are wanting your items shipped faster than the production time listed, you can request a rush upgrade for your order. Our rush upgrade is an additional $20. Please message us prior to purchase so that we can create a reserved listing for you with the rush fee included and agree on a shipping date. Payment for rush upgrades can also be made by requesting that a separate PayPal invoice be e-mailed to the e-mail address listed on your Etsy account.

I reserve the right to limit any shipping request to the listed production time.

I will ship your item to the exact address you have listed on your order's final check-out page. If you realize you have made an error with your shipping address BEFORE your order has shipped, please contact me via Etsy messaging so that I can update your order. I will provide notification on when your item has shipped.

If your order will take longer than the listed production time, I will message you via Etsy messaging (sent to the e-mail address you listed with Etsy) to notify you of that date change. I reserve the right to change any shipping dates without notice.
Refunds and Exchanges
Returns are accepted for a full refund or exchange of equal value if the item you received is a defect (example: stitching has come undone, damage to shirt, received with stains) or if you feel it is not exactly as shown in the purchased listing's photo. If you receive an item that is a defect, the buyer must contact me within 7 days of the date the item is listed as shipped on the buyer's purchase status on their account page.

Returns are not accepted for the following:
purchase of incorrect size
item no longer needed or wanted
damage to shirt during use
item changing size due to washing procedures
any worn items
items coming from a non-smoke free home

Due to the nature of clothing, our inability to guarantee that the item has not been worn or washed, and the custom nature of each order, we do not accept returns unless the item is a defect, as listed in the first paragraph. Please make sure you read all sizing suggestions and size charts when available in the listing description of the item you are purchasing prior to check-out/purchase.

I am not responsible for any lost items once the item is listed as shipped on the buyer's purchase status on their account page.

I love to create custom orders! In order to ensure that your order is created to your exact specifications and design wishes, please message me via "contact seller" on Etsy to send your custom order wishes.
If you purchase a listing prior to communicating your custom design wishes, I reserve the right to decline the custom design wishes added on to the purchased listing.
