and one day a sewing machine came into my life...
I didn't start sewing since I was a child...
I grew up watching my mom sew clothes for my siblings and me but I learned how to use a sewing machine until I was in my 30´s.... and since then I have not stopped!
I studied at Law school and have a master in Constitutional Law. I still work in that area but since 2008, I sew quilts for family and friends... then I started a blog and one day I discovered Etsy... so here is another dreamer girl who turns her hobby into a small business...
My sewing space is in a small room in our home in México. With great support and encouragement from my partner, my shop has allowed me to sharing my passion for sewing and quilting.
I daydream a lot, about new ideas & beautiful things... and I like to be creative... I do my machine sewing at night when my kids are sleeping. I like to buy fabric and my shop allows me to continue with my hobby.
Oh yes... also I admittedly have a kraft paper/washi tape/jute twine obsession!
A tape holder was a gift that my sweet partner Alex made for me to organize my japanese tape collection. After that I thought it would be great to have some of them in the shop and I love the idea of having Alex as a business partner too... I'm lucky enough to have a handsome and supportive partner who doesn't hesitate to jump in and help me... he makes the most sturdy and beautiful tape organizers!
As much as I love sewing and quilting, this is still very much a hobby... If there were only more hours in the day...!
I hope you find in my shop what you are looking for, thanks for your support!
