I truly enjoy creating new items and sewing for my customers so I can assure you everything is handmade by me. I do not like “assembly line” type sewing but instead prefer to take the time and put extra care in every single item that I make. To me, quality is far more important than quantity.

A portion of my sales will be donated to FREEDOM SERVICE DOGS, a non profit organization that provides essential, well-trained service dogs to military veterans through one of their programs called Operation Freedom. This program was developed to help returning war veterans and military personnel transition from active duty and combat to civilian life. Service members and veterans are placed with highly specialized service dogs at no charge to the Vet that help them find a new level of independence in their post-combat life. The Service Dogs come from shelters and rescue groups and are taught to open doors, pick up items, pull wheelchairs, go for help, turn on lights, and know more than 50 other commands. I Love to Sew and Create

I began sewing when I was a preteen, taught by my mother who had worked in a garment factory when she was a young lady.

Sewing has always been fun for me and has always been a helpful skill. When my children were young, I made their clothes -- coats, slacks, dresses..

As my children got older and I went back to work, I pretty much quit sewing. With retirement approaching, I wondered "What will I do to keep busy." I knew I could not just sit around and get old. :) It was then that I discovered Etsy and all the wonderful handmade items. With the encouragement of my husband, children, and friends, I got out the old sewing machine, dusted it off and started in. And 47th Heaven began.

I have time now to devote to my sewing and my customers. I like to give my customers personalized service, helping them to help me create exactly what they want. My customers are so appreciative and I am honored that they love what I create for them.

    Hello, I'm Mama Shari. I received this name from friends of my children who did not want to call me just Shari. So out of respect they added the "mama". I hope they did this because they felt at home in our home with our family.

Thank you for stopping by 47th Heaven. At 47th Heaven you will find purse inserts/organizers in a variety of sizes, purses, and fabric organizer bins. If you don't see the right size organizer inset that will fit your purse, let me know. I will work with you to get what you want. Some of my creations are OOAK. I will package your item so that it will arrive safely.

Payment
I prefer either direct payment through Etsy or PayPal Also your PayPal address must be a verified address and must match your Etsy ship to address.

If for some reason you need to cancel your purchase, contact me within 24 hours of the sale. You will receive a full refund. If you did not contact me within 24 hours and I have started or completed your order, there will be a 20% restocking fee deducted from your refund.
Shipping
Below are the shipping options:

--I generally ship USPS Priority Mail. I feel they are handled more gently (if that is possible).
--I always use a box for the Purse Organizers and Diaper Organizers. That way they do not get all scrunched up in the mail
-- I also ship items 1st Class or Parcel Post, depending on the weight.
--On heavy items I ship UPS because basically it is cheaper for both of us.
-- I generally do not accept local pickups.


If the item in my shop is already made, I will ship it within 3 business days of receipt of your payment. If it is a Made to Order item, please check my shop fo the current shipping time.

Insurance is not included in the shipping costs. Please contact me if you would like insurance. I cannot be held responsible for damaged or lost items.

I try to use recycled packing materials when I can, but rest assured it will be packaged safely.

I ship internationally to a few countries. I suggest you choose Priority International but I do offer International First Class as well. Though First Class International is less expensive, your package cannot be tracked if it is lost. Plus Priority delivery time is much shorter.

NOTE ON INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: All International buyers are responsible for any and all Customs Charges, Taxes and Additional Postage Fees. Any duty/tax, required upon arrival, is the responsibility of the customer. Please be aware it is unlawful for me to falsify dollar amounts or mark your purchase as a "gift" in order to avoid duty charges, please refrain from asking me to do so. Delays in customs are beyond the control of the USPS and 47th Heaven.

Refunds and Exchanges
If you order a custom made organizer (a size I do not carry in my shop), I DO NOT issue refunds for them.

If you want to return an organizer, you must contact me within 1 week of receiving your organizer. You must return it within 1 week from date of delivery .

I will refund on the organizers in the sizes I carry in my shop; If it is one of my standard sizes, I will refund. There will be a 15% restocking fee to cover relisting, repackaging, etc. I will refund the purchase price only (minus the 15% restocking fee. I do not refund shipping cost. Also, the buyer pays shipping costs for the return of the item.

If you have requested added features to your standard sized organizer, i.e., bendable ends, vinyl, bottle pockets, etc, there will be a 25% restocking fee. I will refund the purchase price only (minus the 25% restocking fee)-- I will not refund the shipping cost. Also, the buyer pays shipping costs for the return of the item

NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER 45 DAYS FROM SHIP DATE FOR ANY REASON.

Also, YOU MUST SEND IT BACK IN IT'S ORIGINAL CONDITION . It cannot be used. If I determine it has been used, you unfortunately will not receive a refund. The condition must be "like new". The condition of the organizer will be left to my discretion. So if you have used it, please don't return it. (If you return the item to me and I determine it has been used, then you decide you want it back, I will return it to you. You must pay for the return shipping.)

It must be sent back in a box that is big enough that it does not have to be folded in any direction in order to put it in the box. If it comes back all scrunched in a box or in a used condition, you WILL NOT receive a refund.

Because all my organizers are Made to Order, I cannot do exchanges.

Depending on my backlog when you place your order, please check my shop to see what the current shipping time is. BUT I often do get them ready to ship earlier than listed date. If you would like to change your order (different size or color or add a feature to your organizer), PLEASE CONTACT ME WITHIN 3 DAYS AFTER YOU HAVE ORDERED. If you change your order after that timeframe and I already have your organizer made, there will be an $10 fee.

I try to complete my orders as soon as possible.
I use high quality fabrics in my organizers. I test the fabrics to the best of my abilities for colorfastness. If the fabrics are water resistant, I test them to make sure that water beads up on the fabric. But if the spill is left unattended, please bear in mind it can saturate the canvas. It is Water Resistant -- not Waterproof. There is no way that I can predict how the fabrics I use or water resistant canvas will react with the many different purse linings, if spills do or do not occur. Please be aware that my liability is limited to the purchase price of the purse organizer only.
