My name is Sam, and I am a mom first, fiber artist second, and spooky all the time. In my free time, I love making cute but creepy little items. Every day is different and can range from little knick knacks one day to bags, pouches, stuffed animals and more on others.
Every day is a learning experience for me and I try to improve my skill and knowledge on the crafts I love to do. I was taught to sew at a young age by my mom but only became more interested in it in the last few years as a way to bond with her and make fun and useful things.
I am self taught in crochet and cross stitch, and pick up little crafts as hobbies along the way. Basically, I love to craft, I love to create, and I love to make other people happy with the hobbies that bring me so much joy.
I started my shop in 2014 as a way to put my time off to use. I started to change direction in late 2019 to something a little more professional, and something I spend more time putting myself into. As we all know, in 2020 things changed a little more. I closed my shop for several months to help my little town adjust to our new normal, making and handing out over 800 masks at no cost to my neighbours, friends, family, and community. In 2021, I decided it was time for a revamp and have opened a new shop under a new (but similar) name.
Now that things have settle down a little more, I have been able to set up my own space to work on my craft with great natural lighting to take photos.
I hope I am able to bring you a little bit (or a lot) of joy with some of the things I make.
