4 R Love Of Old And New

We are a husband and wife team that has talked about opening an Antique store for awhile. Well, a few years back I became sick and was stuck in bed for some time due to what we found out was Chronic Lyme Disease. As I started to feel better, we realized that I needed a hobby to help keep me busy. My oldest daughter Coral introduced us to Etsy. So with Danny's encouragement here we are. After the shop had been opened for about a year, we opened a 2nd shop for all the handmade and upcycled items that I make. Well, I found out having both was just too hard for us to keep up. I still get very fatigued and have other physical problems at times. So we combined both shops. One of my biggest passion has always been to make new things out of the old. That is how I had always decorated my homes with my unique touch that started when I was a teen with my first antique vanity. I painted it gloss black, and an Art Deco clock "dad put in my room" with red painted lines. While I loved to collect and change things, Danny is the hold onto everything and also has many little collections.
A little about our office and process. All items are cleaned, inspected, photographed and measured. Then they are wrapped in bubble wrap, cellophane or paper than labeled and put into the appropriate box with peanuts or paper, (sometimes both) and weighed for shipping. Some items are stored in their shipping box while others may be stored just in there wrapping on a designated shelf.
We both believe in great customer service and are here to answer any questions. Try to give accurate descriptions of all items and point out any flaws. Returns are accepted unless noted and feel everyone should be 100% satisfied with his or her purchase whether it is vintage, antique, upcycled or handmade. We also always try and ship that day or next. We hope you enjoy our shop, and if we can help with anything, please let us know.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)

  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
All our products are 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed.

Don't forget; you are purchasing used and vintage items. We promise you we will note any cracks, missing stones or damage in all descriptions. If we were to miss something and you are not satisfied. I ask that you contact us for any returns as soon as possible.

We try very hard to get all descriptions correct and accurate and take pictures to help with the descriptions also. If you receive something that is not described right. Please contact us to work out a refund or other agreement.

Process for a refund:
1) We must be contacted within 14 Business days from arrival.
2) The item and original packaging must be returned within 30 days of delivery and in the same condition it
was received in.
3)You are responsible for the return fees at the time of return.
4) Once received back, the item will be checked out for its condition.
5) You will be refunded your full amount of the product and half for the Shipping return. Unless otherwise discussed. If it is anything other than damage or described wrong on our end. You will pay for all shipping return.
We accept Paypal, Credit Cards processed with Paypal or Etsy and Etsy Gift Certificates.
Note: You do not need a Paypal account to make a purchase with Paypal.

If you are interested in a purchase and need time for payment, just send us a message and we can put a hold on your items to work out a reasonable payment time.

Any other questions again just send us a message and we will respond as soon as possible.
Due to us being so far on the east cost Free Shipping was not in the best interest of the customer. So all items are exact shipping paid by the customer with Etsy's Shipping calculator and all prices have been lowered to benefit everyone.

We do offer Free Domestic Shipping on Jewelry and discounted worldwide as follows. Jewelry to Canada is $8.00 and $10.00 to anywhere else.

All other international sales will be exact shipping with Etsy's shipping calculator. If you have any, problems please send us a message and we will be glad to help.

We use Parcel Select and First Class as our primary mail. If you would like an upgrade to Priority or Express, you would pay the difference. Just send us a message and we will send you the difference and how to pay that.

We do not charge a packaging or handling fee.
We use USPS for all are shipping.
We also use recycled material whenever possible.

We use moving paper, bubble wrap and film wrapping on all fragile items. The glass side of a picture is always marked at levels of wrapping so that you know which side is glass for unwrapping. The film wrapping helps to secure the items from moving and adds another layer of protection.

Once we receive your order we put it in the appropriate box with any other materials needed (peanuts, paper, ext.)
to make sure your items get to you unharmed in any way.

For International shipping- If the shipping calculator had an overage in shipping above one dollar, you will be reimbursed. If it was under we will pay the difference.

When your shipping label has been printed you will be e-mailed out all the information and tracking number.

We always try and ship that day or the next.

We will purchase insurance for any orders of $100.00 or more. Anything under that you would have to request and pay for the Insurance.

For all International Shipping, the buyer (you) is responsible for any and all customs or other fees to receive your package. Once the package is shipped we are not responsible for any hold-ups or problems with its arrival.
Note: It may take up to 6 weeks to arrive due to hold ups in customs.

Layaway: Is 20% Down and 3 months to pay the remaining balance. If something was to happen and you are not able to complete payments, you will be refunded your payments and not charged any fees. We do ask that you inform us as soon as possible so that we may get the items listed again for sale.
