A thought turned into action
I was always a crafty person. Even through school I loved the projects that allowed me to make, create, or fashion something with my hands. At the age of 10 my mom taught me how to crochet, and I was hooked. I finished my first afghan at the age of 12 (she still has it). I lost touch with crafting through my high school years, but rekindled my love just after college. I was pregnant with my first child and I wanted to have some fun things that I just couldn't find, so I taught myself to sew. I was hooked from the beginning (frustration and all).
By the time my daughter was born (5 years later), I was sewing daily. She allowed me to add to my 'obsession' because I was able to make funnier project (ie, dresses, skirts, ect).
I have been gradually adding to my arsenal of sewing skills through trial and error. I also have been adding to my studio as well. I just got a second machine to do my orders more quickly. I also revamped my studio so that I can store more items and be more organized in processing orders.
I started the etsy shop when my youngest was just a baby, thought I could do it all, but found out I couldn't and had to put this shop on the back burner for 2 years. I was able to start again and get things off the ground slowly, but steadily.
I have been able to upgrade my machine since starting and now am self sustaining. In other words, funds for my addiction no longer comes from our monthly budget which was my first goal.
I love the fact that I get to do something that I love and make things that people appreciate and can use in the care of their babies and kids. I feel honored to do so.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders
I love to do custom orders and personalized orders. I can try to do some embroidery that you don't see on my page, if you are looking for something specific, please ask and we will try to work something out that will work for you.
For double sided blankets the care instruction are to machine wash warm, gentle. Tumble try low (making sure it is not in there too long), or lay flat to dry.
Gift wrapping and packaging
I'd be happy to wrap items in tissue paper with a bow around them and add a note from you to whomever you are sending my items too.
