5:5 Online Boutique

The Story: We began this journey in March 2013 as two friends and roommates fresh out of college using a single machine to do personal projects. As family and friends began to make special requests, we slowly expanded our shop into what it is today, offering products including laser engraved and etched materials, personalized vinyl gifts, and art pieces. We opened our Etsy shop in June 2013 with much excitement and support that still surrounds us today. We are continually inspired by the people and things around us, and we hope you find something in our little corner of Etsy that sparks an interest or inspires you. We look forward to having you visit again soon!

The Name: Romans 5:5 is a Bible verse that means a great deal to us personally. It felt appropriate to use that inspiration as part of our brand. We strive to apply the hope and spirit of that verse to the way we run our business.

• All products are carefully wrapped and packaged. We do our best to ensure all items arrive safely; however, we do understand accidents can happen during shipping. We offer full refunds/replacements for defective merchandise and items broken during shipping. In order to receive a refund or replacement on broken items, you must send pictures of the damaged items and all packing materials (including boxes and/or envelopes) within 24 hours of receiving the shipment (according to the USPS tracking number records) as these are required for us to file an insurance claim with USPS. Refunds/Replacement requests not accompanied by pictures of damaged goods, packaging materials, and boxes or envelopes are subject to the shop owners' discretion.

• We do our best to represent each product in our shop accurately through our pictures and detailed listing descriptions. This provides a clear understanding of the item you intend to purchase. Please take the time to review all of this information before purchasing. Additionally, we work to include ordering directions that are as simple, thorough, and clear as possible in each of our product listings. If you have any questions during the ordering process about personalization of your desired product, please message our shop.

• All computer screens/monitors are calibrated differently; therefore, we cannot guarantee the color on your screen will match the actual color of your product. Additionally, please note, wood grain holds stain differently. The colors displayed in our listings vary for this reason and will vary slightly upon production of your order.

• The size of wording on your order may vary from listing photos to accommodate longer names.

• If you receive a personalized item that is not what you requested as a result of a mistake during production, we will gladly replace your item (provided we receive a photo with the mistake). Please double check custom information when submitting an order. We will produce all orders with the details provided and no refunds will be issued because of incorrect information submitted during purchase.

• Any issues with an order must be addressed within 48 hours of the package being marked as delivered with its USPS tracking number.

• We do not accept returns due to the custom nature of our products.
Payment
• We accept payment via direct checkout with credit cards, PayPal, and Etsy gift cards. No order will begin production before an item has been purchased. This includes custom orders and custom design components.

• We know you are eager to receive your order, so we do our best to process orders and begin production as quickly as possible. Should you need to cancel your order, please message us immediately. If your item is already in production, cancellation is subject to the shop owners’ discretion. If your item has been shipped, we cannot cancel the order.
Shipping
• Your item will ship within the specified "ready to ship in" time frame noted in the "Shipping & Policies" tab within each product listing. This time frame reflects the processing time to prepare, package, and ship your order. It does not include the time in transit once an order is shipped. USPS shipping time frames should be added to these "ready to ship in" estimates for an overall turnaround time, which estimates the latest date you could receive your order.

• We are happy to accommodate the need for quicker shipping times with shipping upgrades. Upgraded shipping charges vary by your location, the desired method of shipping, and how quickly you need your order. Shipping upgrades are available on most of our items and will be noted in a drop-down menu during checkout. If you need an item shipped quicker than shown, message our shop for an upgraded shipping custom listing. Once USPS accepts a package, shipping/transit time is out of our hands; however, we will always do our best to ensure you receive your package in a timely manner.

• Shipping options:
-First Class Mail - advertised 2-7 business days, not a guaranteed time frame, does not include insurance (please anticipate extra shipping time during peak shipping seasons)
-Priority Mail - advertised 2-3 business days, not a guaranteed time frame, includes insurance (please anticipate extra shipping time during peak shipping seasons)
-Priority Mail Express - advertised 1-2 business days, money-back guarantee, includes insurance

• For orders that require production of an item more quickly than the advertised "ready to ship in" time frame, rush order fees may be applied. Fees are based on the requested turnaround time and the complexity of the order.

• At the time of shipment, Etsy will send a confirmation of shipment notification to you via email which will include the tracking number of your package.

• At this time our shop does not offer shipping outside of the United States.

• Orders will be shipped to the address provided through Etsy at checkout (not the address on PayPal should these be different). We are not responsible for shipments stolen/lost due to shipping to an incorrect address provided by the customer, and it will be the customer's responsibility to track a package lost or misdirected in transit due to an incorrect address provided during checkout. Additionally, packages returned to us due to an incorrect/undeliverable address may be subject to an additional shipping charge. If you would like your order shipped to a different address not on file with Etsy, please change the address during checkout. Please note, once a shipping label has been created for your order, we cannot change your address, so please check shipping addresses thoroughly.

• If personalization details are not noted at checkout, your order may be delayed while we contact you to get the details for your purchase. We reserve the right to cancel your order if we do not hear from you within a reasonable amount of time. All communication will be made via the Etsy conversation tool, so please make sure to check those periodically following placing your order.
Additional policies and FAQs
• We offer custom orders of our products to ensure you receive the item that best fits your needs. Custom orders are subject to a design fee (which varies based on the item and the complexity of your design request). The turnaround time on a custom order varies depending on the request.

• Pricing/timeline quotes on custom orders and special requests are valid for 30 days. After 30 days, pricing and timelines are subject to change.

• All custom orders will be provided a design proof. Production on the item will not begin until approval has been received from the customer. When approving the design proof, the customer agrees to the design exactly as it is pictured; therefore, it is the responsibility of the customer to double check all information on the proof (including but not limited to spelling, dates, times, accents, layout, etc.). Any changes or corrections made after the product is initially approved and produced will result in extra charges and are the responsibility of the customer.

• We are happy to offer a 5% discount on bulk orders of 20 or more of the same product with the same design. Please note, already discounted items such as sale or clearance items cannot be discounted any further.

• Customer service and satisfaction are very important to us. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our shop. We will do our best to resolve any problems and accommodate your needs.

• We hope you will consider leaving feedback in our shop after the completion of your experience with us. We are always looking for ways to better serve our customers.

• Please note, we reserve the right to photograph all items we create (including custom orders) to use at our discretion for advertising or as samples and reproduce any design that originates from a custom order unless you request privacy.

Frequently asked questions

How long will it take to receive my order?

Your item will ship within the specified "ready to ship in" time frame noted in the "Shipping & Policies" tab in each product listing. This time frame reflects the processing time to prepare, package, and ship your order. It does not include the time in transit once an order is shipped. USPS shipping time frames should be added to these "ready to ship in" estimates for an overall turnaround time, which estimates the latest date you could receive your order. As a rule of thumb, if shipping is less than $5 it will ship USPS First Class Mail (transit time estimated at 2-5 days). Shipping prices above $5 will ship USPS Priority Mail (transit time is a more consistent 2-3 days).

Can I upgrade my shipping method?

Yes! Most of our listings include upgraded shipping options, which can be found in a drop down menu with the item's pricing after you add the item to your cart. If you do not see a shipping upgrades drop down menu for your item, please reach out to us for upgraded postage pricing and a custom listing for your request.

Where is the "note to seller" box for my personalization details?

The "note to seller" box can be found after you've added the item to your cart. If you're purchasing on a desktop, you will see a text box below the item photo. If you're purchasing through the app, you will see an opening above the item total. If you miss this during checkout, please message us after purchasing. If you have any questions about personalizing your item, please don't hesitate to ask those prior to submitting your order.

Can I request a custom order?

We love to create custom orders! Feel free to message us with your request. Please note, during peak shopping seasons, we may not be able to accommodate custom orders, so we appreciate you planning ahead with your custom requests.

What text can I add to the back of my ornament?

You can add any text you want to your ornament. We design the back of each ornament to match the font and style of the front, but the text itself is fully customizable. Keep in mind the more text provided, the smaller it may be for spacing purposes.

What if I'm ordering as a gift?

We don't offer any additional gift wrapping other than our normal packaging method. We package our ornaments in a cloth bag with a Christmas design and ship inside a basic kraft bubble mailer. We are happy to add a short handwritten note as well to let the recipient know who is sending their gift (just include that message in the "note to seller" box at checkout). We also won't include a receipt or packing slip since it's a gift.
