Welcome to 5mm Paper.

At 5mmPaper, we believe in bringing original, thoughtfully designed pieces into your home. Every item in our collection, from our versatile wall hooks to our distinctive picture stands, elegant ceramic vases, and functional trays, begins with my unique creative vision.

I personally develop each design, focusing on minimalist yet fun aesthetics, robust functionality, and the beauty of quality materials like beech wood, walnut, copper, brass, aluminum, and ceramics. My commitment to quality means that every specific form, dimension, and detail is meticulously planned and developed.

To bring these designs to life, I collaborate with a select group of skilled mainly Portuguese artisans, each a master in their craft. Our dedicated Portuguese wood turner expertly produces all wooden components, including all coat hooks, picture stands, and wall vases, to my exact specifications. For our metal elements, a talented metal worker, based in the UK, individually crafts the precise disks. Our unique ceramic pieces, including disks for hooks, vases, and trays, are brought to life by a trusted ceramic producer based in Portugal, who creates molds from my prototypes and applies glazes specially developed for my collection. When painting is required, a skilled spray painter located near our studio in Portugal ensures a beautiful finish.

The "human touch" continues in my studio. I personally oversee the final finishing of each piece, varnishing metal disks, cutting and preparing leather straps to perfect size, and meticulously assembling every component. For our wooden wall vases, I personally apply the hanging system, ensuring they are ready to beautifully adorn your space.
