About

About the Artist

5one7 Designs is a line of jewelry, designed and handcrafted by Danielle Petoukhoff just outside of Philadelphia, in South Jersey. The line focuses on unique & one-of-a-kind pieces that make a statement.

Danielle is a self-taught jewelry designer and her work has become more refined over her seven years crafting jewelry. She sources her materials both locally and from places throughout the world. She incorporates components like gemstones, crystals, unique glass beads, fair-trade components, and broken vintage or antique jewelry. Her specialty is in chainmaille and she creates all of the chain by hand.

"I've always loved handcrafting just about anything. From baking to assembling bookshelves, to me, the satisfaction from creating something out of nothing is unparalleled. Ever since I was little I always wanted to be an artist. My grandmother was an amazing painter from France and continued painting most of her life, but unfortunately, I did not inherit her wonderful painting and drawing abilities. Making jewelry was a way for me to create little pieces of unique "artwork" that could be showcased on my customers." -- Danielle Petoukhoff

5one7 Designs has been featured in Drexel University’s D&M pop-up shops since December 2013 and in The Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts' Artful Giving since December 2014. 5one7 Designs is also part of RAW Artists Philadelphia and was showcased in the June 2014 event at The Theatre of Living Arts, the December 2015 event at the Trocadero, & The February 2016 event at the Howard Theatre in Washington, D.C.
