I do hope you love our items as much as we do. My mother and I both have a deep affection for anything "past its prime" and I have a penchant for taking an ugly duckling and painting it, or otherwise upcycling it, to fit into my own contemporary decor. Please let me know if you have questions about any of our items. We do our best to describe the item down to its vintage-style character flaws, but if you need more details just ask!

NOTE THAT ONCE THE PACKAGE LEAVES OUR HANDS, WE CANNOT SPEED UP THE POSTAL SERVICE AND EVEN THOUGH THEY SAY THEY SHIP IN 2 DAYS FOR PRIORITY MAIL THAT IS NOT ALWAYS THE CASE.
*Tracking* Shipping via Parcel Post does not allow for tracking, only delivery confirmation (letting us know that you have received it and when). In order to be able to track you package and know where it is at all times and give you a tracking number, we would have to use Express Mail, which is approximately TRIPLE the price! We would be glad to bill you for Express Mail if you would like to ability to track the package, but I, obviously, would not recommend it.
If we encounter a problem shipping within this time frame (due to illness, family emergency, etc) we will contact you immediately.
*RUSH SHIPPING* We do not guarantee to expedite shipping on any item, but if you need something really fast, please let us know at the time of purchase (or convo us before purchase), and we will try our best to accommodate.
*WHERE* We ship to the address specified on the etsy invoice unless you tell us otherwise.
My mother and I both list to the store and live in different states so items will be shipped from either South Carolina (from me) or Alabama (from my mother). Currently we ship only within the United States (see shipping price at bottom of each listing) unless otherwise specified on the product page. If you live outside the United States, please convo me and I will see what we can do.
*INSURANCE* Many of our items are fragile. We have years of experience in packaging and shipping but have no control over what happens to it once it leaves our hands. Therefore, if you do not want to run the risk, we will be happy to garner appropriate insurance on your purchase and add the cost to your purchase. Insurance with USPS costs $1.75 for up through a $50 purchase, $2.25 from $51 to $100 and $101 to $200 costs $2.75.
*COMBINED SHIPPING* You will also see, at the bottom of the product page, a price for combining the item with another purchase from our company. However, if you would like to let me know what specific pieces you want, I can weight them and get a more concrete price for you.
*PACKAGING* We were "GREEN" before being green was cool (or even a term!). My mother and I have both recycled since 1985 when I started a gift shop. Therefore, all items will be packaged in recycled cardboard boxes and recycled paper or newsprint end rolls or whatever else we can find. Many items will be placed in a smaller, white, box recycled from left-over gift boxes after closing our old gift shop.
If the item is a gift, please let us know and we will, very tastefully, dress up the inside packaging for no extra charge!
Refunds and Exchanges
Most all of our items will be one of a kind (OOAK) and are irreplaceable. Therefore, if it is our fault in packaging it inadequately, or USPS's fault in handling, we will have to refund your money and depend upon our shipping insurance to cover us.
*OTHER PROBLEMS WITH ITEM* We have described each item to the best of our ability and note any damage, missing pieces, chips or defects in the listing. If you feel you did not receive the merchandise described please let us know right away and we will discuss how to remedy the situation. We may not be able to give a refund if the problem was described in advance, but will do our best to work something out with you - we want you to be happy!
We trust you to be honest with us and not blame us if you break or damagage an item after it was delivered to you. :)
