Good for the exceptional and humorous.
We're a husband and wife team from the Great Pacific Northwest and we make goods for the exceptional and humorous.. We draw inspiration for our designs from the natural beauty that surrounds us as well as from our adventures of family life and personal (geeky) interests.
We purchased our industrial laser in May of 2014 and our creative lives have been changed forever. John has been working professionally with laser engravers and graphic design work for 12+ years. Thea has been involved in the makers movement for 14+ years (www.theastarr.com), with a professional background and education in business management and accounting.
ALL of our artwork is designed by us and ALL laser cutting, engraving and packaging is done in our home studio. We take in pride in sourcing American made and reclaimed materials for our work. We take the time to hand sand any "laser burn" off so our designs have a crisp clean look.
We're parents of six amazing kids, a lovable old "puppy" Toki and "baby puppy" Baberham Lincoln.

Returns and exchanges
*In the event that we do accept a return/refund it you/the buyer will be responsible for returning items in their original condition as well as paying for the return shipping costs. Original shipping fee is non-refundable.
*Custom orders are a final sale – NO EXCEPTIONS.
*We are not responsible for lost packages due to mailing services. (See more of our shipping polices in our Shipping Policies outline.)
Payment
*For custom services we bill up front to secure the materials and time needed for your projects. Large volume projects can be put on a payment plan if needed.
*There are no refunds on custom work.
Shipping
*We carefully package our items - especially the large format signs and delicate items. The large signs do come in large boxes. Please keep that mind when you expect delivery.
*If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect shipping address, we will be glad to send it again for an additional shipping charge.
*International shipping is sent via United States Postal Service International First Class Mail. International Mail is not insured unless a direct request is made for an additional cost.
*Some countries have a long customs processing time. Please allow up to 30 days for deliveries.
*We cannot control the time it takes for your country's customs to process your package. Our shipping notifications only alert you that your shipment has left our studio and shipped from our local United States Post Office.
*We are not responsible for lost packages due to mailing services.
*Some of our items have extended shipping times and are noted on the individual listings.
*We observe all United States Postal Service holidays and only ship on business days (Monday through Friday).
*We refund shipping overages if they occur.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. Do you do rush orders?
A. YES! We do need to charge a fee and the applicable shipping rush fee (depending on the size of the job) to accommodate rush requests.
Q. Do you have other state shaped chalkboards available?
A. The short answer is no. The states we have listed in our shop are the ones we have available. We design our state shaped chalkboards to fit together. Many states are very small or odd shaped. We do have designs for many states that are not listed in our shop, but we release them as the demand comes in. Please feel free to ask us directly about a particular state or country shapes.
Q. What is your custom order process?
A. After we receive a request, we work out the feasibility and options for the order in conversations. We do charge custom artwork/set up fees if needed. After agreement of the order is made, we request payment for the work, then provide artwork (if needed) and final product photos (if needed) then shipment tracking when it's ready to head out. The turnaround timeframe is dependent on the size, complexity and our availability.
Q. Why don't your products have "laser burn"?
A. We really don't like that look so we take the time and effort to dial in the correct settings on our laser and/or hand sand our products to prevent it.
Q. Can I order one custom keychain?
A. Yes, but it might be a lot more than you'd like to pay for it.
Q. Do you guys really have 6 kids?
A. Yes. We are a blended family of 4 girls and 2 boys. Ages 22 - 15.
