Announcement    Welcome to my Etsy shop, 8notes, where creativity can take on any form. You just never know where your creative mind will take you. I find inspiration in so many things, people, and places that I just can't help but bring my creativity to life by making pretty things. :)

I am the daughter of an two artists (Mom is an art teacher, Dad is a painter) who met in art school and throughout the course of my life they have taught me virtually everything I need to know about many different mediums in which beautiful things can be created. Growing up in my house was very different than most other kids I knew because we actually had (and still have) a fully functioning art room in our home (kiln and all). My friends used to love coming over to my house as kids because they knew there would always be an awesome craft to make and take home with them.
Now that I am a parent and an aunt I take pride in the fact that I can instill this love of art and making things in the crazy wonderful kids who share our home. Things do get a little hectic here with three little ones running around (soon to be four little ones) but through love, and togetherness, and art we find a way to make it through even the toughest days with positivity.
Be it with clay, paint, beads, yarn...etc etc....I just love making things. I especially love selling on this site because I think that being able to share my joy of creation with others is truly a gift. I try and think the happiest thoughts through every step of creating things to sell on here because I feel like a put a little piece of me into everything I make and sell.

My favorite words are "Joy, Hope, Inspire, Love, and Believe"....You will find these words incorporated into many of my pieces listed here. I think in this day and age we all get so caught up in our busy schedules and complicated lives that we sometimes forget to be inspired, and to think positively. My only hope is that if you do buy something from my shop, whenever you see it you will be reminded of the importance of Joy, Hope, Love, Inspiration, and Belief.
In this little shop you will find exquisitely made pendants, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, wall hangings, scarves, gloves, hats, and bookmarks among many other spur of the moment creations of mine. I put my heart and soul into every piece I make, and no two are ever completely alike. All of my peices are truly one of a kind so I hope you will enjoy whatever it is that you select for yourself.
