I love this necklace. So simple but the colors really go well together. Love the length. Very pretty and arrived so quickly. I will be wearing this lovely necklace a lot. Thank you!

Need gifts for friends living in Boston, Chicago, NYC or San Francisco? We've got you covered! We have prints in the shop but we also have these one of a kind, original art pieces, ready to hang and in custom colors for only $34 :)
210 blank pieces of wood will become 210 skyline artworks over the next 5 weeks, and they'll fly all over the world and find new homes near and far :)
Kind of can't believe how versatile this neon orange tassel necklace is. I switch the different colored tassels in and out depending on my outfit and I think I wear this one most often!

<<< 9000things | Colorful, trendy, sustainable design >>>

9000things is the aggregate of all the crazy ideas I have swimming around in my head. I'm a total DIYing, crafting, building, handmaking and designing junkie.

First and foremost, 9000things fights against the tradition of shoddily made, mass produced goods, lacking character and history. Everything here is made in the U.S.A. by hand.

I got my start as an art kid in Boston and quickly fell in love with using found and salvaged materials. *Ringgg* was my first design project that incorporated recycled materials, and that tradition holds strong.

Mostly though, I just like making things and then passing them on to people who will love them. Enjoy talking a walk through the creative side of my brain, and congratulate yourself for supporting small businesses!

Hi there, my name is Ali and this is my etsy shop!

It's filled with all sorts of colorful things that I invent, design and make by hand in my Boston studio. Many of the things here are made with used, repurposed and upcycled materials. I love a good thrift shop or flea market find. Other products are made from eco-friendly or fair trade sources.

I'm also interested in product, graphic and pattern design. And sewing. And I love fashion, and don't think it should cost an arm and a leg, but that it should reflect the awesome person that you are inside! There's a lot going on here... Hence the name: "9000 things"

Over all, I hope to make the world a better place by supporting small businesses and handmakers. Say no to huge corporations and buy local, made in the USA, quality handmade whenever possible!

Thanks for visiting!
