Beautiful piece, but arrived a month late. When I contacted Ashley three weeks after the expected date of delivery, she didn't respond at all. I had given up on receiving the order, though I'm glad that I did receive the well-crafted item in the end.

About

giving stained glass a new lease on life...

ABJ Glassworks is a line of whimsical and modern stained glass pieces for the home. All pieces are carefully designed and handmade in Philadelphia by Ashley Bram-Johnson.

After studying Anthropology and Art History in the United States and then a bit more in England, and a 4 year stint managing a door knob shop on Portobello Rd, I moved back to my home state of Pennsylvania in 2011. Unsure of where to turn next, my thoughts turned to stained glass, which I have been working in for over 10 years.

Above all, I want my stained glass to be one with its environment. By working in 3d I can create pieces that interact with light and seem to change with the time of day, season, or even the weather. Every item is roadtested in my Philly home (or the homes of friends and family) before setting it free for everyone else.

All of my stained glass is made using environmentally friendly techniques and a lead-free, silver alloy solder.

I hope my work finds its home in yours

Most of the pieces in my shop are made to order. Upon the full receipt of your payment, I will start processing your order. If you need your item sooner, please inquire before placing your order. Depending on inventory, some items may ship straight away.
Shipping
I ship within the United States as well as abroad.

Your order will be sent with USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation, which is reflected in the shipping/handling pricing. As soon as I ship an order the buyer will be notified of its tracking information. Shipping with priority mail in the USA takes 2-3 days, shipping with priority mail outside the USA takes 6-10 days.

If you would rather your order be sent regular mail for a lower price and longer delivery time please contact me and we can arrange a listing.

Most items are made to order unless they are one of a kind pieces, depending on inventory your item may ship right away.
