About A Baby Notion
A Baby Notion is dedicated to creating fun, practical items for babies and moms.
I love creating with bright colors! I love patterns and color combinations, and will try just about anything.
I work out of a craft room in the home my husband and I just purchased. I have had the honor of creating many custom bibs for customers, and I love every minute of it.
I am currently in the process of opening my second Etsy shop. This new shop is named LHK designs and will focus on modern, practical and stylish products for adults. Visit me here:
I love looking at different combinations of fabric, and taking pieces of scrap fabric and turning it into something beautiful and functional. I also love graphic design, and incorporating my digital designs into something practical and beautiful for babies and moms.
Drop me a convo and say hello! I love to make new crafty friends!

My name is Lacey and I am a twenty-something crafter. I live in Kansas with my new husband, Michael, and the other love of my life, our yellow shelter-mutt Sadie. I love to sew, but will tackle any crafty idea I stumble across.
I have been a crafter for all of my life. I love to take raw supplies and turn them into spectacular, yet usable, works of art.
I primarily craft with paper and fabric, but am willing to try just about anything! Let me know if you are looking for a specific item, and I would be honored to be able to make it for you!
Accepted payment methods
- Accepts Etsy gift cards
Kansas residents will be charged sales tax at a rate of 8.95% as per state law.
Canceled orders may be charged a cancellation fee to cover the costs associated with re-listing items. PayPal charges sellers a fee even if an order is canceled.
I accept PayPal payments and credit card payments via Etsy. I reserve the right to refuse payments from PayPal that are unverified. I hope you understand - I do this only to protect myself from fraudulent activity. Message me if you have concerns about your PayPal payment and I promise to work with you to get it figured out and your order out as soon as possible.
Items will generally ship within 48 hours of receipt of payment. Custom orders and orders with multiple items may take longer. Contact me ahead of time if you are concerned your items won't ship in time. I will try my best to accomodate your needs!
Payment is required up front for all orders, including custom orders. I can not begin designing a custom order until your payment has fully processed (this may take a few days if you use a process other than direct credit card payments through Etsy or immediate payments through PayPal).
I cannot guarantee the post office's shipping times. If you contact me to find out how long it will take to receive an item, I will give you my best estimate, but that is not a guarantee. If you purchase expedited shipping and it does not arrive in time (and you haven't contacted me ahead of time with notice of your deadline), I cannot refund the extra you have paid for shipping. I apologize if this creates inconvenience for you. Please *always* contact me if you have a deadline approaching.
I will contact you as soon as I take the item to ship so you will have a good idea when it will arrive.
Standard USPS First Class shipping rates will be used unless otherwise specified. If you need to receive your item sooner, contact me and we will set up a shipping method that will work for you. I always provide tracking numbers with your shipped order.
I do not re-send items until it is very clear that they have been lost in the mail. For domestic orders, this means I will not resend items until at least 3 weeks (21 days) after the item's original ship date. For most international orders, I will not resend orders for at least 6 weeks after the original ship date. I'm so glad you are excited to recieve your order, but please be patient. It takes time for an item to travel across the country or across the world.
International orders may be charged a customs fee at pickup. I have no control over these fees, and it is the customer's responsibilities to pay them. Please beware of this before placing an international order.
If you are concerned that your package was stolen or misplaced by the post office, please contact USPS directly and open a case with them to report mail theft. Once this has been done, send me the case number, and we will work together to solve the problem. Mail theft is a crime and should be treated as such. I cannot replace or resend your item without a case number.
Refunds and Exchanges
Additionally, if you incur a problem with any purchases within 6 months of purchase (assuming normal wear and tear), please contact me and I will gladly work with you by either sending a replacement or another item of equal value.
If you receive your item damaged, contact me immediately.
Custom orders are not eligible for refunds or exchanges. However, I will communicate with you as much as necessary before purchase to ensure that what I make is what you want.
No refunds or exchanges will be given for digital download purchases. Please be sure you understand what you are purchasing. I appreciate your understanding on this.
Additional policies and FAQs
Because every part of the process of making my bibs is done by my own hand, the product you receive may have some very slight variations from the photos you see. I make every effort to photograph the actual bib that you are purchasing, but in some cases there will be some variation in fabric pattern placement, etc. If you are not completely satisfied when you receive your order, please let me know and I will work with you until you are satisfied.
All designs in my shop, including custom designs, are my intellectual property and may be resold in my shop. Purchasing exclusive rights to a design may be negotiated for an additional cost. Please message me as I take this on a case by case basis.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my shop. I look forward to working with you!
**Note: please do not use my photos or graphic design images anywhere without my permission. In the cases of my bodysuit decals, another seller may own partial copyright of the design, and any use not approved by myself or that seller is a copyright infringement issue. This does include promotions on blogs and Facebook. If you would like to use an image featured in my Etsy store, contact me and we can work together.
