Don't hesitate to purchase a portrain from Joanna, especially if you've lost your child, or are looking for a gift for someone who has. Joanna is kind, gentle and generous throughout her process. My son died and we only got a few hours with him, and only had one imperfect, heartbreaking photo. Using that photo as the base, Joanna made specific tweaks for me and reimagined the photo into an equally heartbreaking - but much more sweet and beautiful - portrait of the family we were supposed to have. I cherish it.

Joanna is wonderful to work with. She was very communicative and patient with me. Joanna sent progress pictures along the way, providing for opportunities to make changes. I ordered a drawing of my stillborn daughter as a representation of her since my pictures are not the best lighting or quality. She did a wonderful job transforming the pictures I sent into a beautiful representation of my daughter and my daughter and me (I ordered a second drawing after I saw the first).
