It definitely matched the description although my daughter said the real thing was even better than the photos shown! It definitely met our expectations – my daughter is so thrilled with it. I'm Judith - mum of one and the owner and designer maker at A Box For My Treasure.
A jewellery lover at heart, I started making pieces first as a hobby in my teenage years - simple necklaces and rings made with seed beads were my speciality!
I've developed my style and skills since then and A Box For My Treasure was officially born in 2009, when I began selling my handmade dainty gold jewellery at local craft markets in Dublin and set up my Etsy shop. A severe economic slump in Ireland during this time provided the unusual opportunity to take a leap into a creative working life.
Since then, the company has grown from its craft market origins and moved entirely online where we sell jewellery to customers all over the world.
We specialise in delicate personalised gold filled jewellery. Inspired by nature, fashion and colour, I combine precious metals (sterling silver and gold fill) with vibrant gemstones to create jewellery with a dainty and delicate aesthetic and personalised necklaces and bracelets.
All pieces are handmade by myself in A Box For My Treasure's studio in Dublin.

If an item arrives damaged or in unsatisfactory condition a replacement will be sent (or a refund made - whichever you prefer) as soon as the return is received.
I will gladly exchange items (less shipping costs), with the exception of earrings (for hygiene reasons).

Each piece of jewellery is packaged in a gift box and wrapped with a ribbon.
We can include a gift note free of charge, with a message from you to the recipient (if you are sending a gift directly to someone). Simply enter your request in the 'note' area at checkout.
Custom and personalized orders
Each piece of jewellery can be customised or personalised - to request a customisation simply contact us here.
Care instructions
Created using semi-precious gemstones and precious metals (sterling silver, 14k gold fill and vermeil gold (gold plated sterling silver)), a little care is needed to keep your A Box For My Treasure jewellery looking its best:
> It is advisable to apply beauty products before you put jewellery on, to prevent tarnish and erosion from the products
> Remove jewellery before showering, or swimming in the sea or a pool
> Store jewellery away from heat and direct sunlight (e.g.: radiators and windowsills)
> Store individual pieces separately, to avoid tangling, and away from air:
- In a clear ziplock bag /
- In acid free tissue paper
