1 de 5 estrellasI have loved everything I have purchased through Etsy…… until now. One of our grandbaby girls couldn’t stop talking about a purple sheep…… so I went looking and found one on Etsy. When it arrived I was shocked to find a label “Made In China”. In my communications with the vendor I was further shocked to find that the stuffie was “reused and repurposed “. The vendor said it further states it on the item’s description. I could find no such description. I’m pretty sure most Grammies would not choose to give their grandbabies a used stuffed animal unless perhaps it was used by their own parents when they grew up? Did you know all the items on Etsy (barring antiques) are not new? Buyer beware!!!!!

Etsy is a marketplace for crafts (handmade items) and vintage items. Crafts can be made from anything and do not guarantee the use of new materials. Many people reuse and refurbish items to create something new - I am not the only person who refurbishes stuffed animals into weighted ones, even. I do clearly state in the description, repeatedly, that these are refurbished stuffed animals. I also provided you with where to find that information and even included a screenshot to show you, so to say that you were ultimately unable to locate that information is deceptive. My whole business model is refurbishment and I make that abundantly clear. I highly suggest reading item descriptions in the future before purchasing an item to avoid confusion. Have a nice day.
