About the name: Did you know a flock of goldfinches is called a 'charm?' Neither did I, until they started flocking to my yard to feed on the bachelor's buttons (cornflowers) I had planted by seed in the early spring. Totally fitting description! I have an avid interest in ecology and the arts. Ecology is more than the study of nature, but the study of relationships - and all great relationships begin with curiosity. My work is intended to inspire greater curiosity, and greater relationship, to the natural world. In our haste to keep up with our modern schedules, how much goes charm goes unnoticed? The stones under our feet, the wildflowers we pass by in the grass, the lovely glass that we toss in the bin....How might our world change if we allowed ourself to slow down, and become truly enchanted in the charm of everyday?
