I just got an amazing drawing of the Manhattan Bridge from Aarnoud on Etsy, and I love it! The details are so well done, making the iconic bridge come alive on paper. Aarnoud was absolutely wonderful to work with and the commissioned drawing turned out perfect. This was a gift for a friend's wedding, and I wanted to document a special place as a gift. Before purchasing, I sent Aarnoud a number of pictures and he was very helpful in sharing his vision. Throughout the process, he followed up very quickly, asking for my input and sharing his thoughts when I asked for his. The overall turnaround time was very quick and the hand drawing was just as he previewed over messages. The drawing turned out exceptional - I would absolutely buy from Aarnoud again!

Our architectural sketch from Aarnoud is exactly what I wanted to gift my husband. I tried to find an artist based in North America because I thought it would be easier to communicate my wishes, but boy was I wrong. We needed a European sensitivity to really have the right "feel" for the building. The sketch is of my husband's childhood home, and super sentimental because his mother passed away last year. Aarnoud knew exactly what we needed, in fact he had suggestions to make the sketch even better. Aarnound was also super flexible on the delivery and timing of shipping so it arrived during the exact window when my husband could collect.

I commissioned a drawing from Aarnoud, based on a photograph. The subject, a large telescope, combined architectural and mechanical qualities with a lot of intricate detail. It also required the combination of views from a few different photographs. There were also some people in the foreground of the photograph that I wanted to include as I thought they added interest. Throughout this process, Aarnoud was very patient, responsive and attentive to detail. We discussed the composition and settled on a square aspect ratio, based on a rough sketch that Aarnoud put together. The end result was delivered much sooner than I anticipated and I am very pleased with it.
