About

Clay "therapy sessions" for a Tourette's girl^^

Hello^^ My name is Celeste and welcome to my shop A Girl and Her Clay!

Here you will find cute creations that are handmade from polymer clay, creativity and love. Each piece is unique in it's own way^^

About 6 years ago, I was diagnosed with adult onset Tourette's Syndrome. Needless to say, it came as a shock. Over the years I noticed that when I listen to music or create with clay, my motor tics seem to disappear. So I created "therapy sessions" for myself where I create with clay while listening to music. I decided to open up an Etsy shop to share my "therapy" pieces with the world to show that even someone who moves all the time can create something beautiful with determination.
