I love collecting, making and sharing all sorts of handmade crafts that are all made in my home studio in Juneau ,Alaska

I have lived in Juneau, Alaska for 31 years. We get about 80 inches of rain annually so I decided to start to capture some of that rainwater and use it in my art work. I started hand painting my scarves 11 years ago. I really enjoy collecting the rain water and mixing it with different silk dyes to create unique art pieces. I feel like everyone that has a rainwater scarf has a piece of Alaska!

I Love Copper!!! It is versatile, it is pretty and it is fun! I've been working with copper for about a year now and the results of each piece, whether I torch it, hammer it, fold it or use any number of dying effects on it~ it it is all so cool! It gives me instant gratification and that to me is an amazin feeling!!! All my work is handmade by me in my studio in Juneau, Alaska!

I love making lotions as well! I love the smell of fresh lavender and jasmine! I not only make this lotion I wear it as do many of my friends!

I am a crafter so in the Handmade Alaska section you will find items that I have handmade here in my Juneau, Alaska Studio!
