Ordered this as a gift to my Dad for his birthday....who has been 20 for nearly 25 years. He said that it looks and feels like wood so he was going with wood, and looking into the sunset with it was extremely calming and relaxing.

I bought one of these for my 3 year old niece as a gift and am waiting for her birthday to give it to her but in the meantime I also got one for myself along with some empty wheels. I'm taking another reviewers suggestion and making some commemorative wheels by filling them with sea glass, pebbles and dried plants from trips and adventures we go on as a keepsake. I plan to wood burn the location of each trip onto the side of the wheel. It is such a clever, unique gift idea and I'm sure my niece will love it as much as I do!

This is a beautiful piece of art as well as a Kaleidoscope. My grand children love it and are thrilled to see all the colors change.
