Creative Experimentor
This store began as an off-shoot from my other store 'Honeycup'.
I’m a Melbourne based artist, who started this AMMIKI range on a whim after coming back from a trip to Europe, where I was inspired by numerous art galleries I visited. I’m relatively new to the art world, I am self-taught, but have come from a design background.
My process is quite intuitive, there is not too much time thinking on the final outcome. I experiment with shapes using various mediums such as, acrylic, watercolour, ink, fabric and paper cut-outs. I then scan these into the computer and start playing around with shapes and colours on the one canvas. From there I kind of go into a meditative state, where I let the shapes and colour lead me to the final piece. I tend to gravitate towards bold, large shapes, in particular circles. I suppose to make a statement and draw the viewer in, but I balance this out by using soft, tranquil colours, which evokes an overall calmness to my work.
All art prints are open editions.
Sizes come in 8x10”, A3, A2 and above.

Please make sure you have suitable frames before purchasing prints or you know which frames will work with my print sizes.
The birch colour frames in my photos use the IKEA RIBBA series frames which has now been discontinued. You can still get white, warm brown and black colours. There is a similar birch frame available but it has more beveled edges http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/80303296/
IKEA USA is the same, they only offer white, medium brown and black and you will need to check to see if they have similar sizes in the USA. I am not sure about other countries in Europe. It's best to ring IKEA directly and ask what frames/colours/sizes they stock.

If getting an IKEA RIBBA (AUSTRALIA) frames in white, warm brown or black
http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/categories/series/16456/ or MOSSEBO http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/80303296/ then below is a breakdown of how the prints fit in their frames:
-21x30 cm frame, this will fit an A4 print without any mount inside (so picture will go right to the edges of frames, like in my photos).
-30x40 cm frame, this will fit an A4 print with a mount/mat inside it.
-40x50 cm frame - This will fit an A3 print but will have the mount/mat inside the frame. In addition this will fit a 40x50cm print without any mount inside (so picture will go right to the edges of frames, like in my photos).
-50x70 cm frame - this will fit an 40x50cm print with a mount/mat inside it.

COUNTRY ROAD AUSTRALIA have nice A3 and A2 frames https://www.countryroad.com.au/shop/home/home-accessories/frames
Now for A2 and A1 print sizes I cannot recommend many off the shelf frames.
But have found one here http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/a2-poster-frame-oak-ugt8101340 and http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/a1-poster-frame-oak-ugt8101319
You could also buy a large off the shelf frame and get a custom mount made at a picture framer. For example you could purchase the IKEA 50x70cm frame and take out the inside mount and go to a picture framer and ask them to make a custom mount/mat based on an A2 print.
Otherwise you might have to get a custom frame made.
8x10" prints are pretty standard print sizes and can easily get frames for them
11x14" are pretty standard print sizes and can easily get frames for them
