Absolutely beautiful! She even accommodated when I messed up sizing and was able to fix it and even ship it to me before the expected shipping date! These rings are breathtaking, and I adore them.

The ring wasn’t exactly what I was expecting. Very lightweight and not as symmetrical as the photo. But returning was so easy and the shop owner was so helpful!

About

Gift-Giving Jewelry

I made my first silver pendant in a community class in 2010. We fused leftover glass in a kiln, and set it in fine silver bezels. After that, I dropped all other future plans, and started fervently pursuing the life of a metalsmith. Everything about the process spoke to me on a level I had never experienced before. The quiet, daily studio life. How the work shows, not tells. The intense, edgy, stable, yet malleable qualities of metal. I knew I had discovered my life's calling.

Since then, I've graduated with a Bachelor's in jewelry and metals, and love the daily time I have at the jewelry bench. I hope to continue expanding techniques and skills, and incorporate them into the shop as time passes. I also hope to eventually achieve mastery in this medium.

Besides the inward journey of discovering what I love to do, I also found that jewelry has a very connective role expanding outwards. I can't say how many friend's wedding ceremonies I've been a part of through my jewelry. The stories I hear back of couples who've stayed together for years, and still wear my rings, touches me in a way I never expected.

As I continued to make more pieces, I noticed a theme pervading throughout. Looking through past pictures of travels and hikes I took, I found correlations between where I had gone, and what came out of the studio. It took a few years to find my own voice, but time showed that natural textures, colors, and patterns had {and still do have} a huge influence on my designs.

This profession has given much more than I have taken, and I am so grateful to be able to do this on the daily. Thank you for being part of this by purchasing, wearing, or even just looking at the pieces, and for being part of a personal creative process.
