Acting on God's Promises
Many people ask me, "What does AOG" stand for? AOG is short for "Acts of Grace." So, what does that mean? We are saved by God's grace and we are acting on God's promises to us. God gives us grace, freely and unconditionally, we only need to accept it. Ephesians 2:8 says "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God..."
A gift. Plain and Simple. It is given freely to us, and we should extend grace freely to others. Kindness, love, grace and gratitude.
I am a teacher at a career center and my husband is an electrical engineer and a pastor of a small church in Chillicothe, Ohio. We have 4 children and live pretty busy lives. When we talked about starting a business, we were worried about adding something else to our schedule, how would we keep up? So we prayed, discussed and placed it where it should be, God's hands.
AOG Design Co. was started out of a desire to spread God's word through stories, scriptures and by helping ourselves & others organize our busy lives.
We pray that each item we create will touch someone, start a spark, plant a seed. We all need Jesus and His love and grace. By founding AOG, we acted on God's promise to us, His promise to keep us and never leave us. His promises are good, He is faithful.
