The thrilling origin story for A Punch in the Art

One day I realized that I needed to start creating things because the things I really want often don't exist yet. After several failed attempts of learning how to complete a magic ring, I finally found someone who could show me step-by-step how to execute the perfect first stitch.

Thus my first Cthulhu was born.

After that, I started imagining other creatures, characters, and concepts in yarn form. Soon, red, white, and black mages followed. Then I started looking into other fandoms - Movies, Anime, etc - and soon, I had friends making requests. I knew I had found something I loved that I could share with other people.

Every crocheted item in my shop is handcrafted by me!

My husband, William has always been supportive in my endeavor. When I couldn't decide on a name for my store, William handed me A Punch In The Art on a silver platter. He goes to every convention with me to help me sell my work, helps me with new concepts, and even draws up some designs for me to work from!

Recently, we started adding products with his artwork to our convention table. Now, it's time to bring those products to Etsy too! You can find his work under the WT2 Designs category in the shop!

I crochet because I love it. It's relaxing, entertaining, and feeds my need to be creative. Some of the things you'll find are born out of commissions. Others come from a love of the subject. I thrive on coming up with new patterns so if you have any specific requests, please send them my way!

Additional policies and FAQs
Please note that much of my amigurumi is made to order. My items are often sold at conventions so many of the pictures I use are only examples of the amigurumi I have previously made. Please feel free to message me to ask for pictures of specific items in specific colors if you want to see exactly what options I have available. Color variations will exist due to the nature of the yarn I have available to me.

Please contact me prior to buying if you need your item by a specific date.
