A Thrifting Lifestyle

I am the former owner of a retail florist shop. Although I have moved on to other things, my interest in decorative and collectible items continues. I love combing through thrift stores and antiques shops; hunting down beautiful, interesting or amusing items to display in my home (which is starting to get a bit crowded). Items that I am especially drawn to are coffee mugs, shot glasses, key chains, ceramics and vintage plastics. The list could go on. I have the feeling that you also appreciate unique and well crafted items. I hope that some of my items make their way to your home. Beautiful objects are meant to be shared, from person to person; from generation to generation.

Buyer agrees to pay the listed shipping charge.

I Ship with Canada Post and use the most economical rate which DOES NOT include a tracking number or insurance.

SHIPPING UPGRADE: A tracking number and insurance is available for $10.00 additional charge per item. Please let me know if you need this upgrade and I will alter the listing BEFORE you purchase. I strongly suggest obtaining a tracking number.

EXTRA CHARGES:
Customer is responsible for customs, import, duty and other changes unique to your country, province, state.

Timed Deliveries: I am not able to accept time sensitive orders at this time.

SHIPPING TIMES: Please be patient.

Canada: Most items arrive in 3 to 10 business days.

USA: Most items arrive in 7 to 20 business days (regular post); not including weekends or the day the item was shipped. As the goods will cross an international border, they can sometimes get held up at customs for a few days, but this delay is not the norm.

International: I ship smaller items (key chains, jewelry, clothing, small ornaments) to some international destinations: Australia; England; Western Europe. Larger items can also be sent to many international destinations; contact me to inquire about International shipping if not part of the listing.

I send the items to the address provided.

I cannot be responsible for incorrect address information.

CONDITION OF ITEMS
I will describe any flaws that I notice in the item description, but minor vintage wear such as superficial scratches, patina, and light fading are expected in vintage items. Articles that are in near perfect condition I will describe as "mint" or "excellent."
Please inspect items using the zoom feature.

ITEMS ARE SOLD "AS IS"

LOST ITEMS:
I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items once they leave my care.
I retain a receipt from the post office to prove that the item was sent from my location.
Items can be insured against loss with a tracking number/insurance; there is an additional charge of $10.00 per item; contact me for this upgrade.

LOST ITEMS: Without a tracking number lost parcels are not traceable.

Damaged Items: I pack very carefully, but if an item should arrive damaged, you will need to provide proof of damage in a photograph. I will provide a refund less the shipping charge. In rare cases, I will require that the damaged item be returned.

RETURN SHIPPING
If an item needs to be returned for any reason, the shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer.

I provide customs declarations for all orders outside of Canada.
Whenever possible, I use re-cycled packing material for my parcels.
