Our grandson was elated with this knife! He had his own grinder and loves to work with metal. Grandpa got one, too! He has a very sharp edge on his now! Been a great project and he made a leather shield for it, too! Highly recommend this knife kit! We received it immediately!!

With the popularity of certain knife making TV shows I found myself often thinking, "If I had the tools I could do that". This kit took a lot of the guesswork away on buying tools and gave me a great starting point to work from for a very handy little survival knife. I have some woodworking tools so I used a sander I had picked up from Harbor Freight years ago and set off on this adventure! Before I knew it I was at a useable and comfortable knife without the worry of setting my garage on fire dealing with torches or a forge. I am excited to see what this maker comes up with next! Great quality, simple easy to follow instructions, and handy reference materials.
