Annie made me a custom cross-body bag strap and it came out beautiful! I needed a new strap for a black leather bag whose original strap was not very nice. This is a great improvement!

About

Inkling my way through life.........

I am a passionate and prolific inkle weaver.
At the age of 17 I saw my first inkle loom and with the help of a library book and my dad, I built myself one. Now I own 10 inkle looms, some home-made and some made by large manufacturers. Each has it's own purpose. One for wider pieces, one for longer pieces, and one to pack in the suitcase for travel.

Inkle looms produce warp-faced bands, no wider than 6 inches.
Even with such a narrow constraint, I find endless ways to combine colors into patterns, constantly finding new materials, techniques and inspirations.

I enjoy custom orders and special requests. If you can't find what you are looking for, we can work together to create something special combing your vision and my talent.

I also have two other Etsy shops for special markets:
One-of-a-kind guitar straps can be found here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/WeaverGuitarStraps
Straps and sashes for historical costume, Native American regalia, etc can be found here:

This free event takes you on a tour of cultural centers, stores, museums, farms and the studios of local Fiber Artists from Albuquerque to Taos. The New Mexico Fiber Crawl promises to be an unforgettable experience for everyone. During the two-day event participants will be given a free Fiber Crawl Passport and a map with a list of artists and sites along the trail.
