5 out of 5 starsI was happy to see the book is spiral bound and the color pages are wonderful to view. There are so many patterns it was hard to choose which one to start weaving first!

Good design techniques. You can tell much time and effort were put into design and publication. -

5 out of 5 starsThank you, Annie, for this delightful and helpful book. I've just finished my design for a project with my weaving study group. We are making napkin rings 11/2" wide inkle woven. Your book helped me work out a 75 end rather tapestry-ly design of my interpretation of a sunset over the Rockies. Most of all, I learned how to shade a color to move into another color by the use of speckles. Hadn't even seen that before. Between this project and your book, my interest has been renewed and I'm now dreaming up my next project.

I have many inkle looms. In this photo 5 of them are busy with projects.

My tiniest loom, an Ashford Inklette set up to weave 1/2" silk ribbon.
Inkling my way through life.........
I am a passionate and prolific inkle weaver.
At the age of 17 I saw my first inkle loom and with the help of a library book and my dad, I built myself one. Now I own 10 inkle looms, some home-made and some made by large manufacturers. Each has it's own purpose. One for wider pieces, one for longer pieces, and one to pack in the suitcase for travel.
Inkle looms produce warp-faced bands, no wider than 6 inches.
Even with such a narrow constraint, I find endless ways to combine colors into patterns, constantly finding new materials, techniques and inspirations.
I enjoy custom orders and special requests. If you can't find what you are looking for, we can work together to create something special combing your vision and my talent.
I also have two other Etsy shops for special markets:
One-of-a-kind guitar straps can be found here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/WeaverGuitarStraps
Straps and sashes for historical costume, Native American regalia, etc can be found here:
