Announcement   Our woman is the one who walks down the street with head up, and her steps are broad. Her coat moves while she is walking and her dress is dancing to her rhythm. Her pants are always smooth, even if the hair is usually messy. And She smells... She smells like a storm mixed with calmness. And even when her look could kill, her most prominent weapon is still her self-confidence.

About

I believe we can express our inner world and the depth of our souls through clothes better than words.

Our woman is the one who walks down the street with head up, and her steps are broad. Her coat is mowing while she is walking and her dress is dancing to her rhythm. Her pants are always smooth, even if the hair is usually messy. And She smells... She smells like a storm mixed with calmness. And even when her look could kill her most prominent weapon is still her self-confidence.

It is difficult to tell where was the beginning of ATUKO.

Here on Etsy we started to sell our products at the very end of December of 2012th. You know, I felt that the Christmas time should be a miracle time. Well, it wasn't at that time.

First of all I was working alone (yes it's me, Atene, who is telling you the story of our Atuko).
Later after about two years, my miracle was born. (No No, this time I am not about ATUKO, but about my baby boy). I thought that babies sleep nearly all the time and so I bought a knitting machine. Said I would work all night, and the sound of it would be like a lullaby to my boy. I was wrong once again. A song didn't even start to play. It was too complicated for me to learn to use this machine. What can I tell if all the tools brokes in my arms? And here we came to a start of ATUKO.

-Hey, do not touch this machine - my mum told me.
She sat down. And the song began to play.

And here we are, together with my mum, co-owners of ATUKO.
We work together; we work alone; we argue a lot, but we love each other, and we love ATUKO. Here we both are as much important as the another.
One is the designer; the other is designers right hand and the one who knits most carefully and most beautifully in the whole world.
I am the one who seeks to know all the fashion(and not only fashion) trends and my mum is the one who stays with classics.
Who could tell this is not a perfect combination? :D

I am looking back when I first wrote about our brand. And it's touching my heart. I was dreaming about the boutique, and now, on this Christmas, we are opening it.
And so who could say that Christmas is not a miracle time? :) :)

And so what about our clothes?
We seek to make them not only of the highest value but even with the most significant emotions. Who if not a cloth can make others feel your emotions when you are silent? What if your dressing could tell who you are when you are walking down the street?
We seek to make them, to create them with the essential character.
We dress all these women, all these icons and we doing our best not to disappoint them.

I met a lot of tailors and I believe it is nearly impossiple to get the good one. Who are diligent and precisious, who work to the highest quality. So when I found one, I was so happy and also dissapointed because who can live with only one tailor?:)
