A Closer Look.

I think I operate pretty much as any fine art photographer might. I still have a real job; I work at the library. I currently live between Seattle and Tacoma, which offer plenty of beautiful nature and urban opportunities for my photography.
My camera is always in the trunk of my car, in case I come across something I want to photograph. This year I've been working on a 365 project, so I am always looking for a daily opportunity. My goal was to photograph something worthy of adding to my shop, and while they haven't all been winners, I've gotten a few photos I'm proud enough of to add to my Etsy shop.
I tend to focus on the smaller things. I got my extension tubes a couple years ago, and got my first real macro lens last Christmas. It has been so much fun finding things I've never noticed before. In fact, on my blog and Facebook page I have also been doing a weekly challenge I call "Macro Monday" where I post a mystery photo and everyone gets to guess what the object is!

Hi, and welcome! I started making Garden Guardians as gifts for family and friends, when several of them suggested I try to sell them, and here I am!

Welcome to my shop!

I am happy that you stopped by, and hope you see something that sparks your interest and intrigues your imagination.

As you will likely notice as you peruse my 'shelves,' my favorite things to find are places of peaceful quiet, as well as the intimate details of everyday objects that we tend to overlook.

Please let me know if there is a particular object or theme you'd like a Guardian based around!

Also please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or otherwise that you may have for me. I appreciate and try to use any feedback given to me, and so would love to hear yours!

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
  • Money Order
  • Check
I currently offer sales though Paypal and check or money order.

I find that Paypal is trustworthy, and most people have it and use it. However, if you don't, or prefer not to, payment by check or MO is perfectly acceptable.

I will mail your purchased item upon receipt of payment is received (so if you plan to purchase in this way plan for an extra few days to receive your order!).

If your purchase is going to be a gift for someone else, let me know and I will wrap it for you! (my secret talent is wrapping presents!)

Let me know If there is a certain Guardian that you would like to purchase, I would be glad to hold an item until you have the necessary funds.
I am based in Washington, so all US orders are shipped via USPS first class mail, or Priority. Delivery confirmation is available, please let me know if you want to add it (it is already included with Priority shipping).

All shipping charges reflect packaging materials and other indirect costs as well as actual shipping fees. I wrap all packages with care in order to assure they reach you in the same condition they left here.
Refunds and Exchanges
All my work is backed by a 30 day, 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you don’t like it, simply send it back in it's original condition and I’ll give you a full refund. It’s that easy. I want you to be completely satisfied! Therefore, you have nothing to lose, and an awesome piece of artwork to gain.
This also applies if your Guardian breaks or fall apart. They are made primarily by wiring found pieces together, and I make them with harsh outdoor weather conditions in mind.
