Doug was very nice to deal with and shipped the rug right away. The rug size was just what I needed. Colors are great and the rug was nice and clean. On one corner, the fringe was coming undone but I was able to repair it myself.

I'm Doug Heifetz. I'm happy to share my journey in exploring the world of carpets from Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, China, India, Morocco, Pakistan, Turkey and beyond.
For me, the adventure started when I worked at a fine Persian & Oriental rug store during my teenage and college years. The designs, the colors, the sense of history and culture, the feel and smell of the wool, silk and cotton fibers, all captivated me. In more recent years I began to collect rugs and learn more about the materials, weaving techniques and designs.
