About

Meet the Owner: Danielle Nicole King

Danielle Nicole King was born and raised in Northern Vermont. She moved to Miami, Florida shortly after high school. At the age of 22, she moved back to the Green Mountains of Vermont to be closer to her family.

Although Danielle had an interest in fashion, art and design her entire life, it wasn't until she was in her early 30s that she discovered her passion for jewelry design. What started as a hobby, grew into her full-time career.

Danielle is devoted to giving back. She currently donates a portion of her proceeds from her "Hope" bracelet to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, her angel wing necklace, to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, her "Abrau Live Lightly" leather bracelet to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. and "Abrau Live Lightly" linen bracelet to Women Helping Battered Women in Burlington, VT.

Danielle states, "these foundations have either moved me or have touched my life personally and I feel compelled to do whatever I can, to help raise money and awareness for these causes." Her long-term goal, she says, is to "donate to as many charities as possible, volunteer as much as possible, and to help make the world a safer, healthier and happier place."

"All of my jewelry is best-described as yoga and Buddhist-inspired.... and incorporates symbolism that can be personalized to my customer for whatever religion or philosophy they follow. The underlying theme of my jewelry is most definitely positive: love, hope, karma, strength, spirituality, inner truth and peace...My inspirations come from my own personal experiences. I'm inspired by love. I'm inspired by feelings, colors, art, natural-looking beads and stones. I will see a sterling silver or vermeil charm and it will inspire me. The lotus flower, for example, reminds me and my customers to "rise above" controversy and to live in the present moment. I love using materials that have meaning or symbolism attached to them."

When you buy an Abrau Cuff you are purchasing a piece of art! Danielle makes each of her pieces with positive energy. She hand picks each stone or bead to make each cuff unique. Color variations, size and placement of stones vary with each piece, making it your very own unique masterpiece.

As with her cuffs, Danielle's earrings and necklaces are made of high quality gemstones, findings and components.

The commitment to quality and craftsmanship is apparent when you receive any one of Danielle's pieces. She prides herself on the attention she gives to each individual piece, each customer she works with and she packages her items with just as much care as the jewelry itself.

Abrau Jewelry comes with a 14-day money back refund guarantee.
