About Acajou Crafts

Back in 2008 I started a now famous Macramé instruction site, called Free Macramé Patterns. I've written over 300 pages to bring Macramé back to life. People found it hard to get supplies, so I started Acajou Crafts in 2009.

When I write a Macramé pattern, I need to make the item so I can describe the steps. So I accumulated a variety of projects very quickly. I joined Etsy so I could sell them along with the supplies I carried. It's been the best decision I've made!

I now have a variety of craft supplies, along with a few Macramé pieces I have left. More will be arriving in the coming year. I'm excited to offer the Nature Crafts and Headbands I created when I took a break from Macramé. "Build a Pendant" will be coming soon.
