DEAR INTERNATIONAL SHOPPERS: Many of you have told us that like what you have heard and read about us and the things we make, and have asked us if we would ship to you. Well, we actually used to ship to Canada, Australia, and the UK, but many shoppers faulted us for the ridiculously high shipping rates, even though we patiently explained that it isn't we who determine them. In addition to shipping costs, there are sometimes additional duties, taxes, and lengthy shipping times over which we have no control. So, instead of having a bunch of folks angry with us, we have made the painful decision to discontinue offering international shipping.
SAVE WHEN BUYING MORE THAN ONE ITEM: If you're State-side, you can have a significant portion of your shipping charges refunded when you buy more than one item in a single order and ship to the same address. We offer this because we can often safely fit more than one item into a single package, but Etsy doesn't provide for this. This is especially beneficial to buyers who, because they live a good distance from us, pay understandably higher shipping rates. Even if YOU don't need multiple items, maybe you can find someone to go in with you, and then divide the shipping charge among yourselves.
Also, we ship through not only USPS but UPS as well, with the latter often being considerably cheaper the farther away you live from us in East Tennessee, provided you're within the contiguous United States (that's the 50, minus Alaska and Hawaii). Plus, UPS is typically faster. USPS recently announced that it's going to take LONGER and cost you MORE. To avoid those BOHICA charges, we try to use UPS. If you use a PO BOX, it'll have to go USPS, so you'll pay more for less. Please see our FAQ on this and other topics.
If your package has been DAMAGED or LOST, or if you suspect that it has been STOLEN, we suggest that you file a timely claim with the carrier, either in person or online. We DO NOT do this for you.
- DAMAGE: We package your purchases very carefully and insure them. (As of this writing, we have sold over 3,000 boards, with only 4 having been damaged in shipping.) Be sure to take photos of the damaged package and product, and keep everything as long as necessary.
- LOST or STOLEN PACKAGE: Although we do not issue refunds for items lost by couriers, or those which have been stolen after delivery, your package is insured and may be covered. If it was delivered then stolen, we suggest that you file a police report as well.

CUSTOMER PICK-UP: We live in a popular tourist destination, and buyers occasionally ask if they can save on shipping by picking up their purchases when they come to visit our area. Although we do not have a brick and mortar retail store, we have tried several times to accommodate folks by meeting them in town. Unfortunately, this hasn't worked out well, so we no longer offer this service. Please don't ask.

5 out of 5 starsI love my new bead pocket boards! I bought two for working on multiple projects. It’s wonderful — I have so much space! I can easily find what I’m looking for. I love the pretty, imaginative shapes of the cutouts. I cut out little pieces of fabric to match the shapes & put into pocket bottoms — makes it easier for my clumsy fingers to choose a bead. Beautifully designed! I love that they stack & fit easily on my bookshelf. They also stack perfectly on top of the bracelet design board. You can pull out a project, work for a short while, and then put it back. No fuss, no mess! Shipping was very fast & the boards arrived very carefully packaged. I highly recommend these beautiful boards!

5 out of 5 starsI love the beading dashboard! It’s great for making custom fit bracelets with any size beads! By using the awesome charts that come with it, I can get a perfect fit — just need the wrist measure & largest bead size. The chart automatically compensates for different bead sizes. It tells you which circle to use & how far around the circle to go. In the picture, I’ve used it to make a bracelet for my niece, who has an 8 1/4 inch wrist. Using circle 10, I went up to the 9.25 mark. (You can see the orange bookmark stickies blocking out the area that I didn’t use.) I love that I can easily custom make a bracelet for her that fits perfectly, with just the right amount of ease, even when I’m using multiple bead sizes. I love it! Thank you!

Can I save on shipping if I buy more than one item?
Yes! First, you won't see any discount at check-out, but will receive it by way of refund before we ship. Also, you must buy everything at the same time and ship to the same address.
We calculate your refund by subtracting what it actually costs to combine and ship your order in as few packages as is safely possible from what you paid.
Do you customize or personalize?
The short answer is, "No, we do not."
We do, however, listen to suggestions and will sometimes incorporate them into future designs if we feel that doing so would benefit a substantial number of beaders. Just drop us a convo!
We are truly sorry if our current designs don't suit your needs or taste, and hope that you will return periodically to see if we have made anything new that will.

Do you haggle, discount, or donate?
In short, no.
Our offerings are painstakingly hand-crafted while being continuously inspected along the way. We are not a company as most folks would generally define one, but a semi-retired husband and wife team who works out of our basement. Considering what we charge, and after deducting production time, materials, and overhead - not to mention social media, photography, editing, equipment maintenance, telephone calls, etc. - we consider ourselves blessed when we manage to pull in even close to what we were paid by our previous employers.
We're truly sorry if you cannot now afford what we make, and pray that things will get better for you soon.
Why don't you bums offer free shipping?
Just as we have no intention of insulting your intelligence by trying to convince you of the existence of Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, or the Easter Bunny, we'll not suggest to you that shipping is somehow magically "free." While some sellers raise their prices to present such a fantasy, we believe you will want us to keep prices as low as possible. Besides, if we hid the cost of shipping within our pricing, we'd have to charge the same shipping price to everyone, meaning that people who live close to us would have to pay more than is fair in order to subsidize those who live farther away. Here's a bit of wisdom for those who have never heard the phrase: "There is no such thing as 'free.'"
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship our boards to Australia and Canada.
Pardon our candor, but please don't buy from us unless you understand that:
- We don't allow returns.
- Etsy's calculated shipping rates do NOT include other, likely substantial charges, such as duties and import taxes which will be added once your package reaches your country.
- You must research and be willing to incur the additional financial costs of international shipping.
- You must wait patiently for your purchase to make its journey, sometimes a month or more.
- You must travel the distance required to retrieve your package in a timely fashion.
- You must abide by any procedures needed to resolve any issues which might arise, such as goods either lost or damaged in transit.
OMG, shipping is, like, SO expensive! Why don't you (x, y, or z)?
We have done much research to ensure that our shipping is the fairest available anywhere which includes tracking and insurance. If you think you can do better, please let us know, specifically.
The packaging we use come either from us or the USPS. We will use whichever gets your purchase to you the safest and at the least cost.

How do I care for my new board?
The best thing to do to your board is nothing at all. Generally, if you're comfortable, so will your board be, i.e., not too hot, cold, humid, no defenestration, etc. The only caveat is that your board doesn't like to bathe or take showers, so don't get it wet. Maybe use a soft brush, or some spit-free air to blow out the divots. Look at it this way... Although we invest a great deal of time into making our boards individual works of art, they're also tools. Dirt, scratches, nicks, etc., are badges of honor - signs of usage and (hopefully) prosperity. Just use the thing and display it with pride, no matter its condition.
But, if you simply must keep it pristine, have it framed and hang it on the wall; we'd be honored! :-)
You're out of stock on X, and I'll simply DIE without it! When will you have more? WHEN???
Short Answer: ASAP!
Long Answer: ASAP! Generally, jewelry items are forever gone once they're gone. Our beading boards, however, will be replenished anywhere from within a few hours to several days, depending on which 90 hours each of us chooses to work that week. We're a small husband and wife shop, and do the best we can, so please be patient and don't hold it against us if we choose to sleep occasionally. If you convo us, we can give you a rough idea of when X will be back in stock. But, if you just can't wait, you might want to consider calling a shrink.
You say my ADDRESS IS UNVERIFIED! What gives?
If we see this notice from Etsy when we go to print your shipping label, we will write to ask that you verify your address. Please don't get perturbed with us; we're only the messenger.
Although a bit frustrating, it's a good thing, as you wouldn't want the item(s) you've paid for, and are waiting for, to come back to us days later marked as "undeliverable."
We don't monkey with what you've typed in, so, once you've verified the address, please let us know as WE WILL NOT SHIP until we hear back from you.
If your package comes back, we will contact you and ask if you'd like to try a different address. Please note that you will not receive a refund for shipping in this case.

Who sneezed on my board? (It snot what you think!)
The darker-colored spots which you may find in the carved areas of your new board(s) are present in varying degrees from manufacturer to manufacturer and from lot to lot. With wood being a natural product, we expect these are bits of bark or knots that have been blended in with the wood pulp.
We're honestly not trying to pass off flaws as features, but, rather than finding them unsightly, we think of them as "beauty marks," because each board can be uniquely identified by their quantity and placement, as on a living thing.
We hope you appreciate our boards' raw individuality, versus our trying to hide their imperfections with paint or something. Besides, these markings are useful in beading groups to tell apart otherwise identical twins!
